-------
Samir: Mornin'.
Jito's Record store on 4th.
3I STARED DOWN at the text Samir left hours ago, around 10.
I was already up, way before then, just looking out the window at the small lil view I did have.
It was almost three and I found myself on the floor of my bedroom now, clothes just tossed everywhere an effort to find something to wear.
I had a lot of clothes, in addition to the clothes I've ordered since moving here and whenever I had too much to carry, I'd give them away in those little boxes where you can donate clothes.
All I know, is whoever did receive my old clothes, they'd be looking cute as hell and fly. I also realized that real soon, I wouldn't be able to afford to give away any clothes, or I'd just have to thug it out and keep the clothes I really needed in rotation.
I was so lost in my thoughts that I truly forgot to text Samir back, so after telling him cool, I proceeded to pick my favorite Aaliyah tee. It was black with a bomb ass photo of her from her 'One In a Million video' when she was on top of the car. I kept that shirt in pristine condition, even after two years. Solid, black, cotton leggings and my black and gray Air Jordan retro 1's would have to do. It was warm out today and the weather was supposed to be cool, so I decided to ditch wearing a jacket.
Taking off the light, pale green body suit id been wearing all day, I change into my clothes before looking at myself in my bathroom mirror.
It was almost time to get rid of these fake locs and try another style.
I was really beginning to miss my own dark brown hair.
"Aight....let's see here..." I muttered, gently gathering my locs up into a pineapple do before letting them fall back down.
"Fuck it..."
I grumbled, placing it into a neat bun.
After placing medium black hoops in my ears and a little bit of clear gloss, I gave myself the mental okay before making my way back to the front and grabbing my keys, cell and black cross-shoulder bag.
I had to get on the train in order to meet up with Samir, so I needed to leave now.
I hated getting on the train, but that was smy only transportation versus Kierra picking me up sometimes. They were both at work today though and I think Kennedy is a little salty that Samir and me are doing something today, but I had to let someone know where I would be and who I was with in case something happened to me.
