"YEAH, BUT MICHAEL Jackson though, you can't like ever...ever...ever deny how strong and sometimes vulnerable his voice was, especially when you could tell he was feeling it," I said, quickly glancing over at Samir, who held a Diana Ross vinyl in his large, tatted hands.

"True, but I still think Prince kills it with his sauce too. They both great though, and they in they own lane, but what I'm sayin is, I fuck wit Prince a lil bit mo...that's it," he defended, as I veered suspicious eyes at him.

Looking up, this made him smirk before taking a few steps back away from me.

I smacked my lips.

How could this dude possibly think, let alone say that he thought Prince was better than Michael?

Michael?

Like how?

"You crazy...you know what, I think we might just have to end this lil day here," I joked, causing him to stale face me now, as I cracked a sneaky smile.

"Naw, me and you both know that ain't happening" Samir said confidently, slowly walking back to me before placing the Diana Ross vinyl back down.

"Oh really?" I questioned, glancing over at him.

He was nodding, now going for another vinyl.

"What makes you so sure?" I inquired next, going for the Whitney Houston Vinyl next to it.

"I just know... You like Mint Condition?" Samir asked next, as I nodded.

"Yep. Love them actually" I answered, while delicately running my black finger nails over the vinyl before turning it over.

"Fav song...on any album. What's something you can bump religiously?" he asked.

"Easy...you send me swangin" I sung lowly, causing Samir to look at me like I was crazy before smiling.

"Okay...that's mine too. My mama love that shit OD"

"Ha...really?" I smiled, as Samir nodded.

"Hell yeah, she used to play that shit mad heavy in the crib. Like every Saturday and shit." Samir smirked.

"Aw, that's where you get your music taste from huh?" I asked, deciding to keep the Whitney Vinyl.

"Yep...I think I'ma cop this though, I'ma get her one too."

I nod before grabbing a Jamiroquai vinyl.

I knew for sure I was copping both Whitney and this one, but I was also in the mood for some more 70's and 80's joints.
