I woke up to the sound of my Alarm,
"Jack?" I said.
"morning mags" he said wiping his eyes.
I got up and headed into the bathroom.
"How did you sleep?" Jack said wrapping his arms around my waist. "It was good even better that you where there" I said with a smile as I brushed my teeth. "Always a pleasure" he said as he winked and walked into my room. I walked into my closet to pick out my outfit for practice. I picked out and black sports bra and black shorts with a grey Land Rover hoodie pared with my uggs and white socks. I did my skincare and no makeup, I don't wear makeup to games and practices, I put my hair up in a ponytail and went downstairs to pack my hockey bag,
"Hey I'm gonna head home so I can get ready for practice" he said. "Ok!" I said as I jumped but played it off. "see you after?" He said. "sure!" I said as he walked out of the room and out of the door, I went outside and put my bag and stick in the car and grabbed my water and a banana, I took nova outside and locked up the house after. I played SZA and headed to hockey practice. I walked into the locker room but I was the second one there. "hey maggie!" My goalie said. "Hey Madison!" I said "how are you" I added. "I'm doing good I'm nervous to play with the guys today." She said. "Don't be there just a bunch of boys with big egos, you got this boo" i said. "yea, there goalies ass to be honest" she said as I laughed. "True, true" I said. I began to put my gear on as more girls walked in. "MAGGIEEE" my best friend said. "ASHTRIDDDDD" I said as we did our hand shake.
- 10 minutes later -
"GIRLS PRACTICE STARTED GET ON THE ICE" coach said as we all ran out and on the ice.
I did my first 3 laps and went to grab some water, I sat down to start stretching, "Hey mags" max said skating next to me. "hey max!" I said looking up at him, he started stretching next to me, the coach's blow the whistle and everyone gathered around them. "Alright todays gonna be different, with the incident last practice Gavin has to sit on the bench this practice, but today where gonna have everyone group with another player and where gonna do some fun and basic drills, BUT REMEMBER today's practice is for shits and giggles so go paired up." Coach said. Me and max look right at each other. "hey teammate" I said as I trailed my finger along his chest. "OK EVERYONE SHOULD BE PAIRED UP, now have someone infront and someone in back and hold you're sticks, where gonna see who can skate with there teammates weight, and to whoever is first to the goal line gets I don't know, candy?"
"You go first"
"Why me?"
"Because, now do it"
we got in position and waited for the coach's to say go.
"GO"
I pushed as hard as I could we where at the top, almost there, why does he weigh so much.
"what- are you- god pushing 270- damn" I said out of breath. max started laughing at the fact I WAS DIEING. "ITS NOT FUNNY" I said pushing him. "Oh shut up, we still got second place" he said.
"on you're marks, get set, GO"
"Lightweight" max said at the goal line.
"shut up" I said.
I looked into his eyes while he looked in mine, god I wanted to kiss him so bad, But there's a cage separating us. god I hate this cage. "maggie!" "Max" our coach's said as we both bolted our heads to the side. "FOCUS"
"Yea love birds" Gavin said from the bench.
"alright anyway, now where gonna do floor hockey but on ice" coach said as they dumped mini sticks onto the ground. Everyone ran to pick a stick up, "god I wish Jack was here" I whispered to myself. "What did you say?" Max said, shit. "nothing just talking to myself" I said.
"Ok you can stick with the partner you have or you can change you're partner, now you're gonna be given one puck, one parter has to try to keep away from you're other partner, and when we say switch you gonna switch positions."
"I don't know what y'all are looking at go, oh also PLAY ON YOURE KNEES" coach said. Me and max picked a area on the ice and began to play this dumb funny game. "Can you play defense?" I said, I'm a forward so makes it easy for me.
"Yea!" He said.
As practiced pasted, I was loading my car with my bag when I got a call.

hey!? I said.
hey I just finished practice, do you wanna stop at Starbucks and get some coffee or something for lunch? He asked.
yea of course, where were you thinking of going? I said.
a coffee shop or something like Panera.
Jack since when did you like Panera?
since I meet you? He said.
Ok I'll see ya there? I said.
ok I'll be there in 15 meet me.
Ok!

Byee I said as the call ended.

"Hey Maggie!" Max said right when I was about to get in my car.
"hey max!" I said back.
"Practice was fun, we should hang sometime?" He said.
"Sounds amazing, hey my birthday's tomorrow maybe we should hang then?" I said.
"oooohhh, I'm gonna have to go birthday shopping soon" He said
"You don't have to" I said wish a smile.
I turned my car on and played some music

"Ok maggie Have a good day" he said.
"You too!!" I said closing my car door and began to drive, I pulled into the parking spot right next to Jack. "Hey Jack!" I said jumping out of my car.
"hey Maggie!" He said.
"God you smell like shit" I said.
"Don't get you're hopes up mags it's all you" he said plugging his noses and holding the door open for me. "Aw thanks" I said with a fake smile.
We ordered our food and took a seat.
"So how was practice?" I said as I was twirling my straw in my drink.
"It was good, I'm tired and hungry, how about you?" He said.
"that's good, you should take a nap when you get home, but definitely take a shower first because now that we've sat down im starting to think it more you then me" I said laughing.
"Ha ha so funny Maggie, but how about you was you're practice good?" He said with a smile.
"It was really fun, today they made us pick partners and made us play all these dumb fun games I used to play when I first started playing hockey." I said.
"That's sounds fun!! I'm glad you had a good practice."
- I didn't have to know who she picked for her partner, she picked max I can tell by the way her eyes light up when she said partner -
"hey you're birthday's tomorrow, how do you fell about being the big 17 my dad says" Jack added on. "I'm excited I just want my bio exam to pass already but I'm excited" I said.
After are food have arrived we eat and headed back home.
When I got home I took nova out and went upstairs to make my bed, after I got out of the shower I put on black flare pants and a cropped bagie sweater and I pared my outfit with my white converse. I did my hair and make-up.
After I got ready I made some avocado toast with water before Jack picked me up for his first game of the series they were playing against Russia, when I saw jacks Range Rover head lights pull up I said bye to nova and opened the door where Jack meet me with an umbrella, It was raining hard so where rushed to the car. I contacted my phone to the Bluetooth and got to playing amazing songs, like party in the USA, lips are movin, can't stop dancin, replay,the night is still young and more great songs.
"BUT I KNOW YOURE LIEN" I sang with my hand infront of my mouth to make it look like a microphone. "Because you're lips aren't moving" Jack said with a smile. as we pulled into the parking lot I looked at Jack. "Hey" I said in a soft voice as I placed my hand on the back of his neck,
"You'll do good" I said with a smile. "you're here, which means I got a reason to do good" he said as he winked at me. he pulled me in for a kiss and got out of his car to grab his bag and stick.
"Hey Jack look!" I said.
"Yea?" He said as he looked over to see me jumping in small puddles. "Maggie oh my god come on" he said as he began to walk in the area as I trailed behind.
