As I replied with "ok!!" I walked up to my room to find something to wear and to fix up my makeup a bit, I picked out some loose blue jeans, a grey nationals hockey hoodie, a black vest to go over the hoodie and white and black blazers. I took off my old makeup and put on some light easy makeup and put on my favorite perfume. (Le Monde Gourmand Crème Vanille Eau) I took my light brown wavy hair down and brushed through it as i walking into my bathroom. I set my brush down on my sink counter and began to brush my teeth. After I grabbed a small black shoulder purse and put my things inside. AirPods,chapstick,phone,charger,money,hand lotion and a tan claw clip. Just in case I brought my keys in case we go anywhere and I have to take my car. I turned of all the big lights in my house and turnt on the small lights and gave my dog fresh water and set out her food. I locked the front door and began to walk over to the hughes house. I knocked on the door and looked around the porch at all the pretty plants they had. "he- MAGGIE!!" Luck said as he opened the door. "LUKE!!" I replied as he hugged me. "God you got soo tall!!" I said as I pulled away. "Yeah and you're still short" he said as he laughed. "Luke let her in and stop bullying her" I heard Ellen say as she walked over to the door. "Come in baby!" She said with a soft smile. I walked in and set my things down(keys and purse) "HOLY SHI- MAGGIE" Quinn said as he ran down the stairs and gave me a big hug."it's been so long how are you, I still watch you play, you're good for someone so small" he said laughing. "Haha so funny, I'm not even that short" I said with a big smile. "Yeah, 5,1. Ok but how are you?!" He said stepping closer "I'm doing good, just happy to see all of you guys. I missed you" I said "I totally missed you too" he said as I pushed his shoulder "I hate you, you know that right?" I said with a smile. "Yeah okay" Quinn said in a sarcastic tone. "Mags come here!!" Ellen said as I walked over while Quinn trailed behind and took a seat at the kitchen island. "Try this!!" Ellen said "Oooo looks good!!" I said as I took a bite. "Chicken Alfredo butttt it's allies recipe!!" She said. "Really??? I didn't know mom could cook." I said sarcastically as we began to laugh at the fact that my mom could literally burn toast. "How have you been kid??" Jim said walking into the kitchen. "Ive been doing good, passing grades and doing pretty good in hockey right now!!" I said "good job, glad to hear you're doing good!!" Jim replied with a smile. "Thank you, bet the boys are a handful for you two" I said glancing at Quinn. "TOTALLY, jacks playing with the USA program, Quinn got drafted to the Canucks and Luke's still playing AAA for right now!!" "Wow that's a handful but I'm happy for you two!!" I said "thank you baby" Ellen said. "So where's Jack at?" I said "his room" Luke said. "I can give you a tour of the house??" "Heck yeah sounds fun" I said "ok follow me" Luke said as I hopped off the counter and gave Quinn small smile and brushed my hand over his shoulder. "Ok so this is that hallway down there's the bathroom that's the stairs to the basement that's the workout room that's the garage ok let's go upstairs" he said as I followed him. "Ok this is the hang out area!" He said as we stepped into the upstairs living room. "This way is jacks room and Quinn's room by the way they both have there own bedrooms and over in this hallway is my and mom and dads room and my bathroom, oh and dad's office!!" He said as he looked at me. "I like it here it's cozy and nice!!" "Yeah me too, we'll I'm gonna head back downstairs probably in the basement but you can look around if you want?!" He said "ok!!" I replied. He walked down the stairs while I made my way to jacks room door, I knocked (no reply) so I opened the door into his dark room. I looked around and saw Jack sleeping. He had his window open which gave me some light to see everything. "Jack" I said in a soft voice. "Yeah?" He said in a sleepy voice. "Get up sleepy head dinner is gonna be ready soon. "Maggie?" "Yeah" I replied "you smell soo good?!" He said still half asleep"thank you?!" I said as I could tell he was still half asleep. I took a seat at the end of his bed as he got up and turned on the small lights in his room. I gazed at his outfit as he walked into his bathroom. "Sorry I was asleep when you got here, I had practice and after I came home and took a shower so I was just really tired." He said "don't be sorry Jack it happens to me all of the time" I said. As he brushed his teeth and fixed his hair. I got up and looked around. He had a dresser under his tv that was hanging on the wall and on it it had guy's jewelry and pictures of him and team USA, he had a Nintendo switch neatly placed, next to it was some chemistry books for school, I gazed over to his desk were his laptop and textbooks where. I looked over by his door where he had all of his shoes placed on a rack on the floor. I liked his room it was comfortable and had grey and white and some black tones of color nothing to bright, and I liked that. "So what did you do today?" He said taking of his hoodie, but all I could look at was his body, his abs. (not sexualizing) "After I talk to you I went home and took a nap with nova on the couch and watched the New Jersey devils game and got ready to come here!!" I said in a soft tone. "You like New Jersey?!!" He said. "Yeah there my favorite but my dad bullies me because there a US team and we live in Canada!" I said. "There my favorite too and Quinn does the same" he said laughing. "Older brothers are the biggest losers ever!!" I said. "Ohh speaking the truth for once" he said smiling at me. "Harassment" I said with a fake straight face but ended up with a big smile on my face. "God I missed you're smile" he said putting on some deodorant and cologne. "I wish you where there last week in game 2 for the tournament in Ajax I got bar down like 4 times" I said "trust me I saw it, you did great I'm happy for you!" He said "thank you" I said geting up and following behind Jack, god I missed him it's only been a year but god I couldn't stop thinking about him. I walked down the stairs and saw Luke, Jim, Ellen and Quinn setting the table. "There you two are I was wondering were you went" Ellen said. I looked at Jack and he looked at me I exchang a light smile with him. After we all gathered our plates we began to eat. Here come the questions. "Hey dad do you think the boys could come over tomorrow after practice?!" Jack said. "Yeah I don't mind it's up to you're mom though?" Jim said while everyone looked at Ellen. "Yeah that's fine with me!!" She said. I loved Ellen she was like a mother to me growing up, when mom and dad weren't home she was always the one taking me and the boys to school and taking care of me when I was sick, she's always been the sweetest and even when she's frustrated she's kind and loving and had the most patients. "So mags what you're mom up too?" Ellen said looking down at her plate. "We'll I took her and dad down to the airport not to long ago!! Her and dad are going down to Arizona for 20 days for her new wedding photo shoot!!" I replied. "Ohh that's nice!! You're always welcome over here whenever I hope you know that!" She said "yeah thank you it means a lot to hang out with you guys!!" I said while taking a small glance at Jack. "So how high school?" Luke said as he looked at me. "Not to bad you know it's my second year there and it's not bad, but I keep a low profile so I can focus more on school instead of boys and drama!" I said. "Speaking of boys!! Any new boyfriends we don't know about?" Jim said. I smiled and took a small look at Jack, "not really I mean some flirt with me and try to get in my phone but I like to be alone, to be honest all the boys at my school are weird and I just back alway from that!!" I replied. "We'll do you and big popular with the girls Hughes have any classes together?!" Quinn said. "Yeah" Jack and I said at the same time. "Bio and science" i said. "Ohhh that's fun!!" Quinn replied. "We'll I think high schools stupid and I think that hockey is the only thing I could be worried about right now" he added on. "Quinn oh my god" Ellen said while she put her hand on her hand and began to laugh.

it was now 10:27pm and I was putting my shoes back on to head home, Luke was sitting on the floor in the living across from him was Ellen they where putting a plant puzzle together, Jim was watching the 3rd period of the Toronto Maple leafs on the couch, Quinn was downstairs with his friends playing pool and Jack was upstairs in the living room watching a movie and on his phone. As I said my goodbyes and headed out of the door and into my house I let nova out side before I got in the shower to get ready for bed. after I got out of the shower I put on some small black shorts and my favorite cropped I heart ny shirt and some light pink socks and put my hair up in a bun to let it dry, I did my skincare and brushed my teeth and got my room ready to head to sleep, I got into bed and turned on the summer I turned pretty on, and went on my phone for a bit to check my socials and write some emails out to school and hockey coach's. ________________
