Chapter 14 - Fun Day part 2

Sarah's POV

We ran down the hill, bringing back every memory that I loved....

Flashback 2002

I ran outta school from my last period class, science, I'll miss Ms. Janes. I ran towards my friend Liz to her class so we could pick up our skateboards there. Everyone was waiting at the flagpole for us besides Luke, Ilieen, Isaish, and the rest of the crew. I saw them screaming there names to wait for us.

Luke was still kinda awkward with me since I told him lets just be friends for now, I never knew he would like me. He took my board and rode it around, and so did Ilieen. While Luke wanted to walk and enjoy it, I wanted to run down the hill so we could beat everyone to the restaurant.

In a nick of time we beat everyone from our school, but the high schoolers beat us, criticizing us as we enter. We order our food and Luke doesn't have money so I buy him his meal and while I get a burger, drink, and fries he stares at me in shock.

"That's a lot, well aren't you hungry." Luke states.

I stare at him in disbelief, that's not even as much. I scoff at him and just think your lucky I'm buying your damn food.

We wait for our meals to be called and we chat with our crew. My mom comes outta nowhere with my brother and his friend, Crystal she so nice. I awkwardly say hello because I find my mom embarrassing.

"Oh hi Lucy, thought you should watch out for Luke and Sarah, in fact Sarah let me sit next to you and not Luke." Amber says, making me shift uncontrollable in my seat. She sits in between us making my cheeks blush and Luke laugh.

As Crystal takes a picture of all of us, she took one of us all looking and one of us not looking at all while I'm looking at Luke laughing with him. Me, Ilieen , Liz, and DeLara ride out skateboards around In-N-Out and to cold stone, we skated and got our selves some Ice cream.

Ilieen had to leave for family reasons, I was going to miss her, but Liz and DeLara stayed with me and Isaish and the rest of the crew, but for some reason Luke is nowhere to be found. Texting him worried, he had to leave early because of graduation, and is not going to the beach because he doesn't want to. That's not normal for Luke and it gets me worried but DeLara calms me down. I handed Liz my board so she can skate with her boyfriend Debates, there such a cute couple.

I'm sitting there with DeLara and Calum and well they seemed to always have a thing for each other, the rest of the crew and gang are skating. My mother comes back saying we're heading to the beach now so we decide to say goodbye to our other friends and Isaish, Liz, Mikey, and Cal get in the car with me....

Flashback over

We ran down the hill just like we didn't back in 2002. Having Luke not wanting to run and beating everyone else. We ordered our meals the exact same but Luke gets nothing. We sat at our tables and took pictures and the two group pictures, recreating them to make a before anD after. We technically did everything just like we did in 2002 but to me, a bit more fun.

We jumped over bushes acting like 12 year olds all over again. We got the exact ice cream too, I'm surprised they didn't close down this shop ether because they got poor service after these teenagers damaged the property. We decided to do a extra thing, SLURPEEESS. I feel such like a kid again and I'm glad, that's where the most memories are made and teenage years too. Luke and Ilieen stayed this time which made it even better. My mom cam to pick us all of in this van she rented for this day and we drove out to the beach.
