That same day Nightmare had come over. Ccino didn't understand why Nightmare decided to come two days in a row when usually it was just an occasional thing, but he didn't mind it. Nightmare smiled to himself at the negativity coming from Ccino as he walked inside. "The usual, and I'd also like a chocolate muffin." Ccino nodded, going to the kitchen the make what was asked of him. He was careless about putting the coffee in but managed to do it safely, somehow without making a mess either. He reached for a muffin and then went back out to Nightmare. "Here you are." He smiled nervously while handing the coffee and muffin to him. After paying, Nightmare started on his coffee. Nervously, Ccino decided to start a conversation to break the silence. "Eh, how are you doing today?" He asked awkwardly. Nightmare sighed. "Horrible as ever." Ccino looked down and Nightmare rolled his eye-lights. "How have you been, Ccino?" Ccino looked up. "Oh, um, I've been alright!" Nightmare nodded, completely aware that he was lying but simply not caring because he enjoyed the sweet feeling of someone else's negative emotions. Taking the last sip of his black and bitter coffee, he started to make his way toward the garbage can. He threw the cup away and walked out with the muffin, which he hadn't even picked at, in his hand. Ccino sighed after the day ended, removing the smile he had plastered on his face. He washed dishes and prepared for the next day, boredom and a lack of motivation to do anything washing over him. He dragged his feet up the stairs and to the kitchen to feed his cats, which he forgot to feed earlier. When he realized that he started to scamper to the food bowls, quickly filling them so that the cats could chow down on some kibble. The cats darted to the food bowls at the sound of them filling up. A sigh of relief escaped from Ccino's mouth as he saw them eating, he didn't want them to starve after all. Ccino went to his room and grabbed some clothes so he could shower, he didn't feel like taking a bath this time. He took a nice long, warm shower. It reminded him of a nice and friendly hug. As soon as he started thinking about hugs he remembered how lonely he was and how it has been so long since he's had a hug from anybody. He felt that pit inside of him grow once more and deepen further than ever. The feeling had made him feel so somber. He thought back to how hurting himself had filled it before and decided to do it once again. He sauntered into the kitchen, going straight for the knife block. He felt his eyes tear up as he took the sharpest knife he had out of the block. He made his way back to his room with the knife still very much in hand. One of his cats came in without him realizing it. So when he sat down and hesitated on cutting, he was surprised by the sight of it. "Oh, hello little buddy!" He smiled sadly at the cat as he felt salty tears roll down his cheekbones. He felt the soft fur under his palm as he let the cat. The car being caring made him set the knife down and hug the fluff. Some of his tears soaked the fur of the little feline, but it didn't seem to care too much. Ccino felt the soft purr of the cat as he embraced and pet the cat. "Thank you, Munchkin." He smiled and wiped his tears, picking the knife back up. Except, he didn't want to try cutting. He just put the knife back in its place and then made his way back to his room. Munchkin had decided to stay on Ccino's nice and warm bed while Felix decided to follow Ccino into his room. After petting the cats for a little while Ccino felt his nonexistent stomach rumble with hunger. "Oh yeah, I need to eat!" He got up moving on to the kitchen to make himself some food to eat for dinner.
