After staying up all night preparing, Ccino was exhausted. The cats! Ccino ran upstairs to feed the cats. The big ol orange one along with the others, chowed down. Ccino sighed in relief as he went downstairs to open the cafe. Of course, Nightmare didn't show up. This fact made Ccino feel horrible. I think maybe last night he shouldn't have been around. Ccino sighed. But, then, who would take care of my fur babies? Ccino felt ridiculous for thinking such a thing. The day passed staggeringly slow and Ccino couldn't wait for the Day to be over. Customers came and left. The day passed and Ccino could finally close the cafe for the day. Ccino cleaned up the place Ccino could feel a familiar presence nearby, but he couldn't see him. I'm just tired. He figured that it was just his mind playing tricks in him. "Finally, i can sleep." He spoke out loud to himself. But, not without feeding my cats first. Ccino heaved himself up the stairs to his second floor. He poured the kibble in to the already cleaned out bowls. The orange one came running, but before it could take too many bites... It fell onto it's side. It started to howl as it struggled, trying to stand. Ccino panicked and picked up the cat. He immediately dialed the number for a vet. It seemed to take forever... After getting to an automated voicemail, he tried again. He was then put on hold. The cat continued to howl and Ccino cried in fear for his cat's life. ... Felix stopped howling. "No no no no no!" Ccino sobbed and put Felix against the side of his skull to listen for breathing or his heartbeat. But, there was none. Ccino hung up the phone and threw it against his couch, now sobbing. Munchkin, Batu, and Kit began to rub against his legs in a means to comfort him. Ccino grabbed Felix's pet bed and set him on it before bringing him next to Fumble and Fluffy. He dug a deep hole for Felix and gently set him down in it before covering it back up. He found a stone and carved his name, birthday and death date on it. He gently set it down with an almost blank stare. Slowly, he walked back to his room. As soon as he sat on his bed he began to violently sob. "Nothing will ever go right!" He shouted, losing all hope that he'll ever be happy for more than a few minutes. The death hurt even more because he didn't sleep the previous night. "I'm always only happy for a few minutes... I always ruin my own happiness!" Nightmare, who had been watching the whole ordeal, felt bad. But, he reminded himself that he didn't care. This didn't stop the feeling of dread that filled the air. Something was going to happen, and whatever it was, it wasn't going to be good. Nightmare brushed the feeling off, continuing to lurk in the darkness, watching Ccino closely. Ccino ran to the kitchen and unwrapped his wrist. He slashed it with full force out of impulse. He saw it gush blood. It took him a moment before he wrapped it back up. This just wasn't enough for him. He still felt the Empty void in his chest. Ccino cleaned up the mess he made and rolled down his sleeve before throwing on his blue bunny-eared hoodie. "It'll never get better." He told himself as he walked to a Local hardware store. He went in and grabbed the first rope he could find that looked strong enough. Nightmare remained at Ccino's home while Ccino bought this rope. The cashier gave a concerned look, but ultimately decided that it was none of their business. Ccino walked back to his home at a quick pace, rope in hand. This was partly out of impulse. Ccino found a place to tie the rope up and grabbed a chair, bringing it over to the rope. Nightmare's eyes widened as he watched ccino quickly write down on a peice of paper before stepping onto the chair. "This is what I deserve. I ruin everything good in my life." Ccino said quietly to himself as he slipped his head into the noose. Nightmare ran over, quickly removing his head from the noose right before he kicked the chair down. "Please don't go..." Nightmare whimpered out, tears rolling down his right cheekbone. "Don't you hate me...?" Ccino asked, his mind fogged by the events of today. "No, of course not. I could never hate you, Ccino." Nightmare began to sob, holding ccino close. "I'm so sorry, it's my fault Ccino." Nightmare cried real, genuine tears. "What do you mean...? It's not your faul—" Ccino was cut off. "It is... I purposely made you feel worse to try and use you for your negativity... I'm so sorry." Nightmare let go of Ccino and looked away, feeling guilt and shame for what he's done. "You... Used me?" Nightmare nodded, unable to make eye contact(ew). "I'll just go... I'm sorry for all of this." Nightmare was about to teleport away but Ccino grabbed him, which made him teleport with Nightmare. Nightmare had teleported to his room. "I will still love you... I can tell how sorry you feel and I forgive you." This only made Nightmare feel worse, it reminded him of Dream, who always forgave him even if he didn't say sorry. "I hurt you so much... Do I even deserve it?" Ccino nodded. "I don't want you to feel how I felt just a few minutes ago. Even if you don't try to commit, it still sucks being that lonely." Nightmare pulled Ccino into a hug. "Thank you, Ccino. I love you." Ccino felt relieved not only that Nightmare love him, but also that Nightmare was feeling better. "I love you too, my cute ball of goop." Nightmare snickered. "I am not cute and I'm not ball shaped, thank you very much." Ccino smiled and nuzzled Nightmare gently. "But, in all seriousness... Please don't do that again. No matter how sad you feel. I would never be able to forgive myself. And just think of the cats, they would miss you too. You matter more than you think(And you too, who ever is reading this)." Ccino nodded and looked away before he felt a hand move his head so that he was facing Nightmare again. "I'm always here to talk to you, I won't be like before. I promise." Ccino smiled softly and cuddled Nightmare. "I'm going to be honest... I don't think you should be alone anymore. I think that you should also take a few days off to recover." Ccino thought for a moment. "But, what about the customers? What will they thi—." Ccino was cut off again(how rude). "It doesn't matter, your mental health does." Ccino sighed. "Okay, but you'll be there, right?" Nightmare nodded with a gentle smile. "Of course I will."
