Benjamin's Inn, City of Crysta

"So...what do we do now?" Shiki sat crisscrossed on the bed. I sat next to him with my one leg over the other and my arms crossed. "I have no idea. I'm more concerned about what happened to Hermit. It's like she cut off not only the outside world, but humanity completely."

"I've never met a bot that hates humans before."

"Sadly, it's not that unusual." Rebecca said and I nodded my head agreeing. "They have cores just like we have hearts. So they're able to experience emotions like us, they're their own race of bots. So anger, fear, hate, all of that is something they can endure."

Shiki gasped at the blonde and then the water works came. "But that's so sad!"

"Shiki, it's normal for someone not to like you. That's just life." I rubbed his back.

"I guess it's too close to home for him." Rebecca referred to his life back on Granbell.

All of a sudden, the town's bells were ringing. "That's not good." I stood up, alerted.

"I can hear a commotion outside." Pino said.

And sure enough there was chaos outside. An army of monsters were heading for the city and they didn't look as nice as the Boss-Monster we encountered before.

The townspeople held their weapons as they watched them draw closer.

"We're heavily outnumbered." Homura stated.

"They're coming for the city!" Happy said with sweat beading down his face.

"Unable to assess their threat level."

Shiki stood at the front, "what the heck is going on?"

The citizens were just as confused as us. "I've never seen this event before."

"We've got to get out of here!"

"I've never seen so many monsters in all my life."

A tiny monster sitting on top of one of the larger ones pulled out a horn. The loud bellow of it reached our ears and all the monsters stopped at the sound of it. But then, one of the monsters with wings, dropped down on top of it, crushing the hornblower. 'Okay, what the heck is this??!'

"Heed my words, citizens of Crysta. I am Guiron, leader of the Magical Beast Army, ordered by Marter Jamilov to lay waste and conquer your pathetic city." The lead monster with wings said.

Rebecca's eyes widened. "You mean that crazy psycho from earlier?"

"Yeah, I'm ready to log out now." A defenseless Weisz said.

The citizens expressed their anger, "are they even allowed to do something like this?!"

"Yeah, what he said!"

"An event like that doesn't exist!"

"Get out of here, jerk!"

Guiron looked down at them. "Hm, seems my Master is tired of killing you, NPCs, because he reached out to us to help finish slaughtering the remainder of you, mindless cattle." The lower level monsters cheered at this. "However, we will capture the players alive, as Master Jamilov wishes to kill them himself. Then we'll be taking this town for ourselves!" They roared with excitement.

"But, why would you turn against the city?! Don't you guys have an understanding of each other?! And why are you listening to Jamilov, he's just a player?!" I yelled back.

"Ah well, once we take over this city and finish butchering all of you, Master Jamilov plans on paying a visit to kill all of us next! He said he'd be killing us to farm EXP! How wonderful is that?! There is no greater pleasure than sacrificing our lives for Master Jamilov!"
