The fight was over. The robots were down–thanks to Nino–and the Resistance won.

Homura, Rebecca, Shiki, Weisz, Happy, and Pino, were all together again. "Forgive me for taking so long." Homura said, voice sounding a bit broken. "Had I found the strength inside of me to move forward sooner, we might've been able to prevent some of this damage."

Rebecca turned to her, "it's okay, you don't need to apologize."

"Yeah, everything worked out in the end." Shiki smiled with a thumbs up.

"Seriously?!"

"Look over there!"

"It can't be!"

The group turned to look at what the commotion was. They were greeted with the sight of (Y/N), who disappeared over a while ago. She had cuts littered across her body and torn clothes, but nonetheless she smiled. "Hey, guys!"

"(Y/N)?!" Rebecca called.

"What happened to your clothes?" Weisz shrieked, face turning pink.

"Yay! (Y/N)'s returned!" Pino jumped with joy.

(Y/N) walked forward, tugging someone on a rope. "Sorry I disappeared on you guys. I had to do something. Valkyrie's final wish." She pulled the wretched woman in front of her daughter. "To reunite you with the mother who abandoned you."

Homura gasped seeing the person before her. Judging by the hands tied behind their back and the scruffed up look, she didn't want to come here willingly, if not at all.

"You're my mother...?"

The crowd murmured. "That's Madame Kurenai!" "That girl captured her?" "Did she defeat her all by herself?"

Eagle cracked his knuckles, "good job, young lady."

Van smirked, "now we can all finally bring her down together."

"This is for Valkyrie, you crooked hag!" Yak shouted with his hand raised in victory.

Other people chimed in as well, ready to act on the downfall of Madame Kurenai. "And everything you put us through in this miserable labor camp of yours!"

"Start begging for mercy!" They crowded her with their weapons and readied fists. A rough man grabbed her arm, "you lived off our blood, sweat, and tears!"

"Hey!" (Y/N) only glared and they all stepped back. Not recognizing the smiling beauty who just walked in here to the intimidating person looking at them now. (Y/N) eased down and looked at them calmly but still assertive. "Homura is going to decide her fate. It's the right thing."

The crowd didn't agree with this. "Why should we allow that?"

Paul spoke up, knowing that they would listen to him. "This young woman is the only reason that Madame Kurenai was brought here in the first place. I think it's safe to say that she's earned the right to choose how she's punished."

"Thanks, Paul. Took the words right outta my mouth." (Y/N) sent him a thankful nod.

"Besides, Homura is Valkyrie's apprentice and Kurenai's daughter. There is no one more worthy of deciding her fate."

"Yeah, but we still got a bone to pick." Van grunted.

"If you still don't agree, then you and I can fight. If you win then you can decide what we do." (Y/N) said with a smile but an unsettling glint in her eyes that caused Van to unconsciously take a step back.

"No," Eagle agreed, "we'll leave that to Homura. My only request is that her fate involves severe punishment. Any show of compassion would be disrespectful. Only if you agree to follow this one condition of mine, will we allow it. Okay, gentleman?" His followers were hesitant but still ended up agreeing. "Fine, then," one of them said bitterly.
