Hello, everyone. It's good to see you again. I am Xiamei, the narrator of this tale. Shiki and his friends went to Granbell to visit Ziggy's grave. They found Ziggy changed from the Demon King they once knew. At this reunion, Ziggy told them, quote, "We mechanical lifeforms will rule over all humankind," end quote.

Thinking back on it, this was the first time the Demon King really acted the part, isn't it?

With Ziggy now on board, the Edens One set off into outer space on a quest to see Mother. Shiki also headed into outer space searching for both Mother and Ziggy. From the sky of the Sakura Cosmos and its dancing cherry petals, our story moves to the sea of frolicking fish of the Aoi Cosmos.

(Y/N)'s POV

After fighting our way through Dragonfall, we made it to the Aoi Cosmos. Our first destination was the planet Red Cave.

"Woohoo! The ocean!" Shiki screamed while running to the water, and Rebecca, Happy, and Pino were right behind him.

I watched them dive into the ocean with a smile on my face. Next to me, I hear huffing. I turn to see Homura is standing there, training with her Ether blade. "Why even put on a swimsuit if you're not gonna get in the water?"

Still practicing her form, she huffed, "a new environment means a new place to train. The beach is perfect."

"Ugh, I can't believe this." Weisz groaned as he approached us. He had a disapproving frown on his face. "That isn't what the beach is about. There's no training or research!" He said referring to Hermit who sat on the sand and typed away on her device.

"I agree with Weisz, Homura."

He continued, "The beach is about the opportunity to rub sunscreen on pretty ladies!"

"I take it back. He's a pig." 'Suddenly I regret wearing a swimsuit around him.' "But anyway, Hermit, didn't you say this was a fire planet?" I questioned, not seeing much fire but plenty of water.

"Well, it is exceedingly hot!" Homura said. I sweatdropped at her, "that's because your training."

"It does seem more like a water planet than a fire planet. The atmosphere is teeming with water Ether." Hermit said.

Witch sat comfortably in her beach chair while the sun gazed over her figure. "We haven't seen a single building. I'm not entirely convinced we'll find any clues about Mother here." Sister stretched her body, "In that case, the search can come later. We're at the beach! It's time to have fun!" "Moscoy!" She and Mosco ran to the water with excitement.

I looked around and everyone was having fun. Even Hermit put her tablet down to build a sandcastle with Weisz, and Kleene came down from the ship too. Everyone was enjoying our time here, all but Homura. Unless training is her way of having fun.

"Hey, Homura?" She didn't stop her sword swinging but she did finally glance my way. "Yeah?" "Let's go in the water for a bit. After everything that's happened, we deserve a break, right? Let's have some fun!"

"I am having fun."

"But don't you want to hangout with everyone else?"

"I will," she wipes the sweat from her head, "after 100 more swings."

Sighing, I almost leave her be until an idea pops in my head. "Okay." I walk over to the bag I brought and pull something out. Slowly, I approach Homura from behind with a water gun filled with ice cold water in my hands.

Once behind her, I push the trigger and spray the freezing cold liquid on her back. "AHH!" She screamed, jumping away from me. "Are you still hot now?!" I chuckle deviously.
