Even though they brought Kurenai and her tyranny down, their trip to planet Sun Jewel was still unsuccessful. Valkyrie sacrificed herself to save everyone, which means they can no longer reunite her with the Shining Stars. They relayed the sad news back to the others and Sister was furious and argued to bring Valkyrie back.

Even when the Witch tried to explain to her that had they brought back Valkyrie, she wouldn't be the same android they knew. Death applies to androids as well and as painful as it is, their Valkyrie is gone and they must accept that.

But Sister scoffed, still not settling with this matter. "Shiki, help me out! You get final say on this ship! So hurry up and convince this heartless witch to revive Valkyrie"

"I'd love to help but I don't understand what you guys are saying. I'll leave the complicated stuff like that to you guys. However, I do know what Grandpa used to tell me." Shiki recalled the wise words of the Demon King who taught him that machines experience death, just as humans do and that death causes them to appreciate the importance of life.

"Going off that, I think we have to accept what happened to Valkyrie. The death of a friend is also proof that they once lived with all their heart, just like you and me."

Homura stood from her seat, feeling the urge to give her side. "I agree with Shiki. We have to move forward to honor her memory. Bringing her back would be an insult to her sacrifice. And if we need all Four Shining Stars to head to Mother, then so be it, I will become the new Valkyrie."

Everyone looked at her with shock.

(Y/N) gasped. "Woah."

"Wait a sec, don't you have to be an android to be one of the Four Shining Stars?" Weisz asked.

"There's no rule saying a human can't be." Hermit said.

Sister frowned at the idea. She didn't want a new Valkyrie, she just wanted her friend back. At the moment, all she thought was her friend was being replaced.

Witch smiled, "thank you, Homura."

"I don't know if i could ever replace what Teacher was to everyone. But still, if it was Valkyrie's mission to help send this ship to Mother, then I accept this-"

"It wasn't a mission," Sister interrupted. "We finished our duties 15 years ago. We're all joined here now by our own free will."

Homura corrected herself, "this is my choice," she said with pride.

But Sister still wasn't ready just yet. She stood up and walked out the room.

"Sister, wait!" Rebecca called.

Witch watched her go with a sad look, then turned to the others. "Please, give me a moment to go and talk with her." She said and walked after her.

"Welcome aboard, Valkyrie!" Shiki smiled.

"Huh?" Homura asked, not used to being referred to by that name.

"Are you gonna take up her torch?" Weisz asked.

"Yeah, but I'm not nearly worthy enough to be able to use Teacher's name!"

"Okay, then how about a new one?!" Shiki suggested.

"Yes! It's only right that the new Valkyrie gets a new name." Rebecca agreed. Next thing you know, everyone is spewing out ideas.

Pino cutely raised her hand. "I think Valkyrie II or Valkyrie Jr. would be an extraordinary new name for her."
