Bani's POV
Wedding Day.
I was seated dressed in a blue saree.
Meera Di was putting on the blue chunri while Gauri was putting pink bangles with a floral element in my hand.Ishita was doing my make up. I always preferred the minimal make up look up. While Bhavya was putting the emerald studded mang tika.
I kept looking at the mirror. Today was THE DAY.
Even the mere thought made my heart beat insanely.
It was going to be the time for the muhurat, when Dad walked in.
"Dad.. "
I said, hugging him emotionally.
I know we were not in betiyan shadi ke baad parayi ho jati hein era but still I was a little emotional, thinking about this new stage of my life.
Dad also hugged me being emotional.
I know he was missing Mom today just like me Or even more.
"Beta.. You trust me right? "
He asked. Catching me off guard.
"Of course Dad. Ye kaisa sawal hein? "
I said." Then remember that whatever I will do, I will do it for your own good beta.. "
"Of course Dad. Now stop being so senti. Mere modern Dad par suit nahi karta..! "
I said and laughed a little, as I earned a chuckle from him as well.
" Apna khayal rakhna aur apne dusre parivaar ka bhi.. "
He said putting his hand on my head.
"Yes Dad.. "
I said with a smile.
" Baraat aa gayi hein..! "
Tapish jiju said with a smile.
Dad moved down to welcome them. As I stood near the window trying to catch a last glimpse of my fiance.
Because the next time I see him, he will be my Husband.
He came out of the car and looked up to the window. Our eyes met and I smiled. He just kept looking at me.
Him and his staring! Uff
Ek smile bhi toh kar sakta hein.
"Hogaya jiju ko dekhna "
Gauri said teasing me as I immediately closed the curtains.
"I was not doing any thing as such..! "
I said."Haan.. Haan bilkul.. Gauri tang mat kar humari Bani ko.. Bechari khidki se tarein dekh rahi thi.. "
