𝟬𝟭. 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 {𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻}

  Chloe stood on the top floor of the hostels. She stood with Alex, izzie, Cristina and Lexie as they overlooked all the orange. She knew what it meant and how it meant the merger

"Why orange. It's such a ugly colour to look at I mean they are swapping us like rats" Chloe said as Alex looked to her and chuckled

"She's not wrong. I mean look at them kiss asses" Alex said as Chloe looked to them and smirked. She knew that things were not easy and she knew how her brother was after the chiefs job and she knew that all of this was a fight to stay in the programme and the last thing Chloe wanted to do was give them a reason to get rid of her

Chloe stood in Meredith hospital. She stood with izzie, Alex, Cristina and Lexie as they looked to the new mercy west residents. "They really think they own the place" Chloe said as she stood munching away on Meredith grapes. She was looking at all the new mercy westers. She didn't like it. She didn't like change and she definitely didn't like this merger.

"Your lucky your in the hospital bed, you'll probably have more of a chance than the rest of us do" Chloe said as she looked to her sister in law

"she's not wrong" Cristina said as Lexie stood looking out of the window at the mercy west residents in the orange scrubs

"what's with the orange scrubs, aren't ours good enough for them?" Lexie asked as Chloe rolled her eyes

"looks like a prison jumpsuit" Chloe said

"we ran out. They're on back order says they'll be here in a week, that's what you learn when you lie here all day" Meredith said as Chloe frowned

"they're taking over, I don't like it" Chloe said as she walked off into the ER. She saw the new mercy west residents

"where do you want us?" Cristina asked

"In mercy west, we do zones, you know I am your patient helps you get to them quicker" Jackson said.

Chloe looked to him and rolled her eyes. She didn't like them, she thought he was a pretty boy and loved himself and she wasn't going to let them take her over not when she had been here since she was an intern.

Not when Chloe knew that she had to work her ass off. It was bad enough that her brother was the head of nuero she knew they she had to already prove her worth and she knew that she wasn't going to do it to a bunch of strangers who turned to this merger thinking that they owned the place

Chloe walked down the hall and looked to see grace as she walked over to her and smiled as she looked to her best friend

"Where have you been. I mean I think that with this merger you'd want to be fighting for your spot here" Chloe asked as grace looked to her and rolled her eyes

"I don't fight for it. I am the daughter of addison Montgomery. If Webber kicks me out on my area. She'll kill him. I dunno why you worry Chloe. It will be okay. I mean your dereks little sister your going to be fine" grace said

"Yeah well maybe I want more than being his little sister. It's stupid I know" she said as grace looked to her and smiled

"It's not stupid at all. I get it. But we've got this. We grew up together. We have faced a lot college, med school"
