"I can't find anything," Luna says closing her laptop, "Nothing is coming up when I search about what happened?" I nod my head as I look at the documents before. They have information about all who has lived on this land, but not much more information.

"Hey, I found a list of Spaniards that also has their pictures. I want you two to come and see if one of these men are our guy," Remi says and turn her phone towards me. Seria walks to look over my shoulder. We look at the pictures of the men and I stop at a particular one. 'Soyla Ladrón' is the name before the picture of the guy who killed Seria.

Remi grabs her phone at seeing me pause. "This is him?" I nod my head. That face is difficult to forget. "It says here he was a priest on the crusades, does that sound right Seria?" Remi asks looking at me.

I see Seria nod her head so I do to. After a bit of time they both start to pack up and I say goodbye to them.

Later that day I go to bed as normal and after a few hours I hear someone yelling my name. O squint my eyes open and see Seria above me. I glare as I ask, "What are you doing?"

"There's this adorable kitten outside and its all dirty and matted, let's help it!"

I nod my head and start to get ready to go outside while Seria is impatiently waiting for me. As we walk outside, Seria starts to head around the house towards her parents' graves. I see a small dark shape in front of the graves. As Seria gets closer I hear a small meow then the kitten turns towards me. "I think its meowing at me!" Seria says excitedly.

I pick up the kitten and it doesn't struggle. Its fur is all mated and dirty, I can't even tell the fur color. Once inside I give her - I checked - a bath. She has a beautiful light sandy orange coat with two bright green eyes. I look up to see how old she is and she's six to seven weeks old based on her canines, ear shape, and body size.

"Let's name her!" Seria shouts before I shush her. I nod my head and pull out my phone, "What theme should we go with?"

"Look up unique cat names," Seria says as she creeps closer to me to look at my phone. I do as she suggested and clicked on the first link. While we're looking the kitten falls asleep on my pillow, the brat.

"Dune?" I say, "It reminds me of sand - like her fur coat."

"Yeah, lets go with that - it fits her perfectly."

In the morning I awake by being smothered, as in Dune was laying on my face. I push her away and head down stairs with Seria and Dune following me.

"Hey sweetie - is that a cat?" Cynthia asks while pouring some syrup over a couple of fluffy pancakes.

"Oh yeah, she was outside last night and Seria woke me up to go clean her up. She was nasty and her fur was all matted. So I gave her a bath, is it okay if we keep her - even if we just keep her till we find her a permanent home?"

"We can keep her! She's so cute. We'll all take responsibility, okay?"

I nod my head and we all look down to see the kitten playing with a shoestring.
