Cameo Gordon 🖤
5 months later

I felt the needle go through my nipple and a bend jewelry was pushed through the newly made hole. She moved on to the next nipple and swiftly poke the needle in, making another hole "it doesn't hurt as bad as google describes it."

It feels more like a quick bite or pinch instead and it only lasts like three seconds

Getting my nipples pierced definitely wasn't apart of plans, but being in Fiji all by myself for over five months now, kinda influenced me to make some changes in my appearance so I ended up getting my nose pierced first.

I liked it and that's the main reason why I'm now piercing my nipples, in hopes that it'll look just as cute as my nose.

"Kali, you think I should also pierce my ear ." I asked my piercer, who I befriended.

"Give piercing a break, why not get a tat instead." She suggested and put the used needless aside, to sterilized later

"yeah, but what would it be and where would it go?"

"I'm not to one who's getting the tattoo." Kali says throwing her gloves away "It's now my break, you want to go have lunch?"

Mi neva even affi think bout it "yeah which place yuh have in mind, I'm tired of the one down the street."

She rolls her eyes at my picky choices with food but still agreed with my statement "I know this place just around the corner, let's go."

We left the tattoo parlor

"Cameo I've never asked, but what's it like in Jamaica?" Kali passed time by asking me this innocent question filled with nothing but curiosity

"Well, one thing it's a very hot and dangerous place." I said, still feeling some resentment in the depths of my heart "Other than that, my country is beautiful and if you do choose to visit one day, the disgusting inhabitants that live there will treat you nicely because you're a tourist."

I'm speaking the truth and nothing but the truth. It truly amazes me how my people can treat tourists better than the people who lives amongst them, all in the name of leaving a good impression, that won't even make a difference.

"Okay, but are the men as nice as they say?"

Which part a Jamaican man nice?

"Nooooo." I said tumbling over in laughter "whoever said Jamaican men are nice, don't believe them, they're setting you up."

"But the one who gave you that ring, must have been nice, right." She hesitantly asked "they can't be all bad."

"Girl, trust me when I say that the man who gave me this ring, has many flaws." I smiled "and he's not nice."

We turned the block and continued walking down the hollow road

"But if you plan to visit Jamaica, please avoid the police and soldier man them." I warned "If you see any a them a try talk to you, run for your life cause them wikid, also avoid di man dem wid pants a hang ova dem batty, cause most a dem a undercover batty man."

She looks confused at my accent coming out and I had to say over back some things in English so she could understand

"So if they're sagging, I should avoid them because they're secretly gay."
