Odaine detached himself from the people around him, as everything begins to connect.
He pulls the microphone from his ear and slowly rest back into the comfort of his chair. It all makes sense now. The looks they gave each other, the tension, how did he miss all this?
He heard everything, every word exchanged between Giovanni and Natalia.
He heard and felt the tension they had, there's history between them..... how did he not see it before?
The corner of his lips twitched slightly upwards into a smile, this was interesting.
More interesting than he anticipated. Who would've thought that his innocent little sister was capable of keeping secrets, especially one with this capacity.
Hmm, this explains why she tenses up every time his name surfaces. She was guilty.
He frowns, flexing the microphone, between his thumb and index. How was he going to deal with this?
He was in a complicated situation, one he couldn't fix like that. If he took charge now, he's completely sure that Giovanni would use Natalia as a scapegoat and if he doesn't, he risk allowing him to slip from his grasp.
"yuh think Odaine ago forgive yuh?"
This sentence rings in his ear. It was from the earlier conversation with Gio and Nat. He had said this to her.
What did this mean?
What more was she hiding from him?
Just how much can he trust her, knowing she was hiding something that might get him upset. Something that had her voice quivering at the thought of him finding out.
What exactly did she do?
The people around him could tell he was in a seriously bad mood, the ominous energy coming from him was prove of that.
"Dain." Alex says to the man who was busy thinking about all the options he had "guh through wid di raid or no."
There it was, the question that was putting him through a frenzy.
What's the best option?
He sigh, finally flicking down the thing in his hand. He stood up and walks to the end of the office, standing in front of a window overshadowing 95 feet in the air.
He inhaled deeply and did the same when exhaling. The sky was dark, only a few stars were out and the moon was full.
The night was beautiful "weh yuh think?" Recently he became prone to asking Alex about his thoughts on matters like these
Alex who was where Daine left him, spoke fearing how the trueness in his words might affect the unstable man "I think you should go wid di raid."
The energy in the room emerges, as Odaine stares over at Alex with questionable eyes. "Why yuh think that?"
