Chapter 18

-Regina-

The day arrived, I never knew I would be this excited to be tied down. Narda is just in the other room but we haven't seen each other since last night, Lola Berta insisted since it's a Filipino tradition that we need to abide by. We are having our wedding behind our chateau, Dad and I talked about it and Narda is ecstatic to have a garden wedding because she wants it private and wants to see everyone at the same time.

"My darling Regina, you look gorgeous!" my dad was in awe, as if he doesn't see me like this often

"Dad, you always say that!"

"Regina, this is the first time I've seen you so happy, glowing and beautiful at the same time" he said as if he tries not to cry

"Oh! Dad! Don't make me cry!" we hugged each other because we knew how happy we are right now and it's so overwhelming that our small family will now become bigger

"Anak, I want to have a dozen apo ha!" I just laughed, well if that's what dad wants, I will make time to make our family happier and bigger

"Yes, dad, I will make sure of that"

"Come on, it's time" he smiled at me as he held out his hand, we both went out of my room to the place where I will wait for the love of my life

-Narda-

"Narda, apo! ang ganda ganda mo!" ngiting ngiti si Lola Berta at kitang kita ko ang saya sa mga mata niya

"Oo nga beshy, ang glowing mo talaga!" kilig na kilig na sabi ni Mara

Si Brian nakatingin sa akin na parang naluluha

"Hoy! Bakit ka umiiyak? Parang tanga lang?" napangiti na lang siya at umiling

"Ngayon lang kita nakitang ganyan kasaya Nardz" at yun na nga hindi na nga napigil tumulo ang luha ni Bri. Hiniling ko sa kanya na siya ang maghatid sa akin dahil siya na din halos karamay ko sa lahat ng bagay, kaya naman hindi na siya tumanggi pa. Pinipigilan ko talagang umiyak kasi kakatapos lang akong ayusan, pero buti na lang at naretouch pa ko

"Tara na, ayoko nang maghintay pa si Regina"

I was kind of nervous or excited, I don't know, it's as if I've never been with Narda for the past year, its like my body and soul always craves her existence, makita ko lang siya kahit nga hindi na mahawakan I feel complete.

Then I saw her...

I don't know how to feel, its like our times together since we are young flashback before my eyes

"Regina, nakayakap ka na naman" Narda smiled like the tsundere she is

Her ball gown splayed wide while she stand behind the makeshift arc of dried leaves and white flowers

"Mahal na mahal kita Regina," Narda said as we lay on the bed of our bedroom

She's holding the most simple bouquet of different flowers as she walked the aisle

"Regina tama na nga yang kaka-wine mo, kumain ka nitong salad" I smiled as she tried to feed me

The most beautiful woman I have ever loved now coming towards me, Brian handing over her hand to mine

"Huwag mo kong iwan, please" my heart ached at those words
