심재윤 ☆ Summer was dull and tedious at her father's Resort in Jeju. Everything Moon Doyun needed to make it shine again was a music genius, his guitar and the ravishing moonlight.

The best part of a mid-August burning Sunday had always been the sea.
Everything about it was simply perfect: the mellow crashing sound reverberating on the crowded beach, melting with the joyous chatters of the people, the freshwater splashing the rocks in the sea, leaving a silver-ish veiling on them that children used as a mirror while their laughter melted with the waves.
Talking about the waves, that day they were delicate and slow, without scaring the people away who were just trying to bathe in peace. That particular day, the water shone a pure light blue with shades of aqua green closer to shore and deep blue far away in the distance. The horizon line melted perfectly with the sky and it almost looked as if the sea and the sky were one.
On one of the rocks in the middle of the sea, not too far away from the distance, Doyun and Minji sat in silence, enjoying the warm company of the Sun. The latter leaned back on the towel with her signature cat-eye glasses resting on her face, as her whole body was perfectly displayed for the Sun's rays.
At the end of the Summer holidays, Minji loved to show off her golden tan to her friends and family and therefore, since Summer was more than halfway over, she wasn't letting any day go by without spending some time under the sunlight.
Doyun on the other side, sat comfortably next to her friend, admiring the distance. Her eyes traveled to the small villages around the bay. She loved to imagine what people were on just a few kilometers away from her. She imagined tourists visiting the local ruins and historical sites of the bay, and locals trying to get their daily errands done, but since it was a Sunday, the best thing she could imagine were people in their homes suffering yet another burning hot day.
On her side, she felt perfectly on that rock in the middle of the sea. Her long hair was messily tied into a braid that Haerin had previously done, before leaving to go to the bar to get some fresh watermelon juice for the three of them. The braid prevented the girl's hair from sticking against her skin. Though the waves were soft, some of them still managed to crash against the rock and soak the girl's lap with fresh water. She didn't mind, as it helped her to fight the hot wave.
"Haerin has been gone for a while." Minji said suddenly, lying still in her comfortable position.
Yet another wave washed over Doyun's lap. This one was colder than usual as it made the girl flinch at the sudden cool stream of water. She looked down at Minji as her braid slowly loosened up, "She probably stopped there to talk to Jungwon." She assumed, before going back to admire the horizon, "Those two have become great friends."
"I'm glad to hear that," Minji started, finally spinning her head towards Doyun, "But I'm thirsty and she's taking too long." She joked.
"Come on, you know how Haerin is," Doyun laughed along with her, "She's always quiet, I'm happy that she finally got a new friend."
