Daryl's POV:

I woke up with a start. I felt an unfamiliar weight and saw Kim led with her back against my chest.

All the events of last night flooded back. Her confession. The kiss. Everything.

I got up carefully and changed into my sleeveless flannel and put my boots on and walked to the kitchen with Kim's words orbiting around my brain.

I think your hot y'know and i have a teenie tiny crush on you.

Kim's POV:

I woke up with a slight headache after i having the best snooze of my life. I stood up and got changed and looked in the mirror.

Jesus christ sleeping beauty needs more sleep.

After staring at myself for a minute i braided my hair. As i did everything from last night came flooding back.

Oh my christ.

The kiss. The confession. I stood in front of the mirror beating myself up about my stupidity and opening up to a man i hardly knew.

I finished my hair and made my way to the kitchen and was met with the smell of coffee and eggs.

I sat inbetween Rick and Glenn and poured myself a shot.

"Little early for that Kim don't you think?" Mom said.

"It's 5 O'clock somewhere mama."i said as held my glass up before consuming it.

She laughed and shook her head.

T then presented my with a plate full off food and announced how the eggs were powdered but he does them good or something like that.

I was more focused on my good friend Glenn who had his head on my shoulder mumbling about how we should 'never let him drink again'.

I couldn't help but chuckle.

Shane waltzed in and i tensed and glared him down until he sat down conveniently in front of Lori.

This bitch.

I gave Lori a knowing look saying how i will have her back if shit stain over here tried anything and she gave me a subtle nod.

"What happened to your neck and face man?" Rick asked.

"I don't know, must've done it in my sleep." He replied while glancing at me and Lori.

Narrators POV:

Shane's glances didn't go unnoticed as Daryl and Lip shared a knowing glance between them and glared at Shane for the rest of breakfast.

Jenner then walked in and Dale slammed him with questions then Andrea dropped the bomb of why the group were really there.

"When your finished follow me" He said.

The group followed him into the big room.

"Give me a play back of TS-19." Jenner calls out.

A brain then appears on the large screen.

"Few people every got a chance to see this."

"Is that a brain?" Carl asked.

"Indeed and extraordinary one, not that it matters in the end. Take us in for E.I.V" He called out.

"Enhanced internal view." The robotic voice spoke.

He then began a speech about the brain while answering the groups questions in between.The speech was cut short by a bright light flashing through the screen.
