Ricks POV:All morning i've been trying to find a way to talk to Kim but i have no idea what to say.
After her encounter with Lori im sure my wife now hates her but she's gonna have to suck it up because that's my daughter and i'm gonna step up.
"We are leaving soon you can sort car arrangements out between yourselves and be ready to hit the road in 5." I said as i got into my car
Before i shut my door Morales announced he's not coming. We told him all the risks but him and his family are adamant on leaving, but it's their choice so what can i do?
Kim's POV:
Violet had practically begged me to cab with her, Lip and Daryl and i agreed.
Lip and Daryl have sparked quite the bromance recently.
"Jace, mama, Shauna im going with Daryl, V and Lip ok?"
"Yeah ok be safe." They all gave me a hug and we went our separate ways.
After the longest debate this morning over which place would be safer between Fort Benning or The CDC we agreed the CDC is closer and if that was a bust we could continue on to Fort Benning.
Deputy Dipshit didn't like that idea at all and continued bitching because he thinks he's all high and mighty.
Daryl and Lip got in the truck with Daryl driving, Lip in the middle and me on the end with V on my lap.
I was a little mad i had to give Smiley to Jace because there just wasn't any room for my trusty companion in Daryl's truck.
Rick signalled we were all leaving and all vehicles followed him.
Me and V were chatting away about life before the turn and how i used to be a bar singer.
This drive was gonna take ages so i rustled around in my bag for my CD i had made of all my karaoke hits. I put the CD into the cars radio and the tune of Back to black by Amy Winehouse sounded throughout the car.
Before the turn i used to sing in locals bars, a few original songs but usually covers. Back to black was a personal favourite of mine because i had a rather raspy voice.
That's what's smoking does to you.
But singing was a sort of escape for me. Living in the Southside was tough and me singing passed the time and brought joy to those who heard it.
I remember when i had to take a shift at an old folks home is spent most of the day singing 'Can't help falling in love' by Elvis Presley.
I didn't remember falling asleep but i slowly opened my eyes and was met with a very sleepy Violet, who was led on my chest with her mouth slightly open and softly snoring.
I heard the hushed whispers of a conversation between Daryl and Lip.
I could see as Daryl was talking about something but i couldn't make out what and his grip on the steering wheel tightened and he looked angry but i thought nothing of it and went back to sleep.
Daryl's POV:
I thought now would be the time to tell Lip about what that bastard did to his sister, but i waited for V to be asleep so she wouldn't have to hear. Kim dozed off with her so now the time was right.
Almost as if reading my mind Lip spoke up.
"Man what's going on with Kim? She's been acting strange ever since staying in Shane's tent." He spoke with anger in his voice.
