Narrators POV:The group instantly drew their weapons aiming then at the man before them.
"What do you want?" The man spoke.
"A chance." Rick simply stated.
"That's asking an awful lot these days." The man said "Price of admission is a blood test."
"We can do that." Rick agreed.
"Grab your stuff once these doors close they stay closed."
A small group ran out to grab everyone's things while Kim stood glued to her spot lost in thought.
Kim's POV:
Needles.
I hate needles.
"Kimmy i don't like needles." I looked down to the small girl who had her head buried in my top.
I grabbed her hand.
"Me neither peach but we gotta be brave and the man will let us stay ok?"
She briefly nodded.
The rest of the group returned with Rick yelling orders for people to cover exits and make sure there was no trouble around.
T then went round handing everyone their things.
When he handed my bags he had a sweat on and was cautious while walking in my direction.
I had a deep hatred for him for dropping the key but pushed my feelings aside as he was a nice guy and it wasn't his fault.
I also had a feeling i knew him from somewhere but couldn't put my finger on it.
Me and him have hardly spoke after the news surfaced about his doing in Merles disappearance.
Carol mentioned at the quarry it was because he was scared i would drop his ass but i'm yet to act on that.
The doctor introduced himself as Dr Edwin Jenner and then led us into a huge elevator.
I was at the back pushed into Daryl's chest with V in front of me and my brothers on either side of me.
Given the situation i bit my tongue and didn't rattle off a comment to fluster Daryl but to make up for it i'd be sure to throw a cheesy pick-up line his way later.
"Doctors always go around packing heat like that?" Daryl questioned.
"There were a plenty laying around so i familiarised myself." Jenner shrugged. "You all look harmless except you." He turns to Carl and V. " I'll have to keep my eyes on you."
Carl and V looked at me with bright smiles which i returned.
The elevator stopped then Carol piped up about her claustrophobia and Jenner blew her off simply stating 'try not to think about it'.
I bit back a chuckle but failed and covered it but with a cough and earned a glare from the poor woman.
I mumbled a 'sorry' and her gaze softened.
He led us into a large darken room and spoke.
"Vi bring up the lights in the big room."
The lights began to turn on.
"Welcome to zone 5." He said
"Where is everybody? The people the staff?" Rick asked.
"I'm it. It's just me here." The doctor stated rather sadly.
