Daryl's POV:

I was awoken to a cool breeze and saw Kim was nowhere to be seen.

I got dressed and walked out and saw her talking to Shane.

I felt anger rise up and i was trying so hard not to go over there and knock that bastard out for talking to my girl.

V walked over to Kim and whispered something to her and then both of them took off running.

I was a little concerned but brushed it off.

I walked over to Carol who was cooking on the barbecue.

I took a plate then the kid who has the hots for Kim came up to me.

"Mr Dixon i'd like to thank you for bringing that deer back it was a real treat and i would be honoured to shake your hand." He held out his hand and i looked at it for a sec.

I licked my fingers and gave him a firm hand shake and he left.

"Why do they keep comin up ta me?" I asked.

"I don't know but you gotta learn to live with the love." Carol said. "And just so you know i liked you first."

"Stop." I mumbled. "Kim got there first actually."

She laughed.

Kim and V reappeared and Kim ran over to the bar and dived over and hid behind Carol's legs while V ran and his behind the flowerbed.

"The fuck are you doin?" I asked.

"Shhhh! He's coming!"

"Who's com-" I was cut off by the door swinging open revealing a very princessy looking Merle.

"Kimberly Milkovich bring your ass here now!" He roared.

"How come this is on me and not me and V this shits unfair." She whispered.

Later in the day:

Hershel had called a group meeting because he'd noticed some of the newcomers were getting sick.

He explained how it was possibly the pigs that could be spreading it so Rick asked Kim if she'd assist him and getting rid of them.

"Nah uh if your killing Piglet and her family you do it without me." She pouted.

Rick then went on his way and everyone returned to what they were doing.

I walked over to Das and the twins.

"Daddy!" Hailey yelled.

"Darnell!" Lilah yelled.

"There's my girls!" I smiled while walking over.

I sat down with them and Das eventually toddled over and fell asleep on my lap.

"Darnell mama needs a ring like the princess had so you need to find one and give it to mama."Lilah said.

She was talking about an engagement ring.

"Ok i'll see what i can do but you keep quiet about it ok?"

They nodded and i went to find Kim.

"There you are baby brother i've been looking for you, i wanted to talk to you about Kim." Merle said.

I instantly felt worry.

"What is she ok?"

"I don't know baby brother but something about her is off and i remember the last time i saw her like this it was when well you know."
