Kim's POV:

Me and Daryl have been much better now we've spoke it out and it's amazing.

I was outside with dad by the pig pen and noticed one that wasn't looking good.

"I think she's sick." I say to dad while pointing my cigarette at a pig.

"Yeah." He says.

We walk back to the prison and something feels off.

"Dad something doesn't feel right."

"I know what you mean the air it's different."

I shook it off and went to look for my babies.

"Mama Ellie isn't sharing Corey." Lilah pouted.

"I'll go get him baby wait here."

I walked towards their cell and opened the curtain.

"Why you upsetting my daught-"

I couldn't believe my eyes for the 5th time in this apocalypse.

"Oh my sweet fucking baby jesus." My eyes went wide. "It's always me i swear to god."

I allowed the pair to redress themselves and waited outside.

"Kim you can't just walk in like that man!" Elliot said.

"I'm sorry but your dear darling nieces want there uncle Corey and uncle Ellie isn't sharing."

"I'll go find them." Corey smiles and walks away.

"Look at you getting your 5 a day." I tease.

"Oh shush, you and Daryl are no better."

"Touché."

"Carl, Kimberly come here!" Dad yells.

We rush over.

"Whatever it is i promise it wasn't me i was with Beth all morning it was probably Kim and Merle."

"The fuck?" Merle shouted.

"I think i've just lost a bit of respect for you, outing me like that." I told him.

"Wha- no look." He pointed at Das.

For the 6th time i couldn't believe my eyes.

"Oh my clever girl!" I squealed. "Come on walk to mama."

She walked over and i'm overjoyed.

I continued fussing over her until Carol called us over handing us some food bits.

I noticed recently Carol has been acting weird and she certainly wasn't trying to hide it.

After everyone had been served she left instantly and i followed her.

She walked into to the library and i hid behind a bookshelf.

I had the impression she was gonna read the kids a story but shitting hell was i wrong.

She pulled out a case of knives.

I shit you not she pulled out knives.

"I'm gonna teach you how to hold these and use them properly." She said.

I made my presence known by walking out.

"Kim what are you doing here?!" She hissed.

"I was hoping for story time but now my day has been ruined." I shrugged.

A few of the kids chuckled then Carol sent them packing so she could speak to me.

"They've got to learn Kim, they need to know how to defend themselves an-" She began frantically explaining.

"Oh Carol, listen i don't give a shit what you do because when all's said and done they gotta learn but dads gonna be pissed if he finds out so you'll have to deal with the wrath of a hormonal Rick not me."

"You won't tell him will you?"

"Nah i got better things to do today."

"Like what?"

"People Tennis."

"How are you even gonna do- that's not even a thing."

"It very much is a thing."

"Ok Kim." She chuckles. "How do you play People Tennis?"

"That's the beauty of it you see, i'm gonna launch something at someone during the day right? Then i'm gonna see if they dodge it with their hands, like their hands are the racket and whatever i find is the ball."

"Where do you even get these ideas Keeks. I'd love to take a trip in the mind of Kimmy for a day."

"You should i think of the coolest shit especially presents like one year i got Lip a pack of Advil then i gave mama a singular tap for her birthday i think they are great for washing your face, filling cups, jugs, mugs you get the picture."

"You amaze me everyday Kim." She gives me a hug then walks off.

5 hours later:

It's now dark out and i've put my girls to bed and was taking watch with dad.

"There crowding up there i don't think that's gonna hold!" I said while looking at dad.

"It will hold."

Famous last words.

The fence caved and the walkers flooded in.

I gave him a look as to say 'i fucking told you so'.

The door that was keeping them from us burst down and we instantly geared up.

"You gotta lock the chamber before you shoot!" Dad yelled.

"Got it!"

We began firing and took them out at a steady pace.

I reloaded 6 times and we were burning through bullets.

My rifle kept jamming so i flipped it and began using the butt of it to attack.

This method seemed to work as we had now cleared the walkers and rushed down to secure the fence with a wooden beam.

We propped the fence up and it was now stable.

"Fucking hell i'm sweating my sack off." I whined.

Dad chuckled.

We sat down on the bench to cool down and i pulled out a smoke.

"Want one?" I said while holding the box out.

"One can't hurt." He said.

We began smoking and enjoying the cool breeze.

I put mine out and got another one.

"Kim your chaining again." Dad said.

"I know it helps me think."

"What do you need to be thinking about at this hour?"

"Calculators."

"What?"

"Like how the fuck do they know every answer in less then a second? It blows my mind every time."

The fence halted the conversation because the support was falling so dad went down to add a second one while i picked the walkers off through the fence.

"How many times do you have to do this i used 3 last week." Dad said.

We then walked back to the prison and heard one of the beams fall.

"You've got to be shitting me." I groaned. "That fucking fence." I shook my head and went to my cell and curled up to Daryl.

Little did i know a whole storm was coming our way...
