It was 9:20pm on a Saturday night and Cleo was sat in her bedroom bored out of her mind scrolling through her comment section on Instagram and selfishly ignoring her ex-boyfriends harassment of texts.
She was in comfy attire consisting of grey sweat pants and a matching Calvin Klein set, her hair in a messy bun and left over makeup from the same day.
"Ellie!" Cleo groaned dragging out the ending of the name as she walked into the lounge.
"What?" She yelled pausing the tv, slightly annoyed her Grey's marathon was interrupted once again by her best friend. They'd normally watch together but somehow decided to take a break. Ellie not feeling up for that choice.
"I'm hungry. Let's go to the store!" The brunette announced sliding her slides on and grabbing her keys.
The blonde rolled her eyes before slipping on her shoes and heading for the car.
The drive went as normal, the two teenagers regularly having late night drives whilst blaring their music. Taylor swift being a regular late night hit.
Upon entering target both girls rushed in opposite directions Ellie to the drink soon following Cleo to the snack isle. She grabbed two bags of Hot Cheetos and a box of Swedish Fish, she reached to grab the last pack of Twizzlers only to brush hands with someone and retract.
Cleo glanced at the stranger and found herself at a lost for words, a boy that looked around her age with gorgeous curly brown locks. She was a sucker for curly hair and absolutely loves brunettes. Beautiful green/blue eyes and a very sharp jawline. To her he was easily the most handsome man she'd ever seen.
His lips twitched into a small smile when he noticed the girl in front of him checking him out, she picked up the packet and handed them to the girl. "You can have them," he said then reached for a pack of sour patch kids beside the previous candy.
If his looks weren't enough to make her get her all hot and bothered then his raspy voice sure was.
"I'd sit on his face, swear to god." Cleo turned to her best friend that'd just came up behind her. Ellie's eyes widened as she saw the male her friend was just checking out, stop in his tracks from turning away.
Realising what she'd just said the two strangers glanced directly at each other both in shock and embarrassment. Cleo's face was red and the mystery boy in a similar state. Recovering from his shock his eyes turned playful, winking at her then walking off.
"Cleo, oh my fucking god," Ellie burst out laughing.
"Stop laughing you idiot, I just embarrassed myself in front of a hot guy." She groaned in annoyance, ashamed with herself.
The pair made their way to checkout once her flushed face had calmed. Unfortunately for her the same boy was in front of them and chuckled to himself once her recognised them.
"Do you normally tell strangers you want to sit on their face or am I just special?" Cleo's face once again resembled a bad sun burn.
"Shut up," she mumbled looking down at the now very interesting floor. He laughed as he payed for his items. Then pulled out a pen from his back pocket, waiting for her to put her things on the counter.
Once she did, he gently grasped her arm and wrote his name and number. He quickly sent a smirk at the girl and left.
