CHP.1 [First Day In Beacon PT.1]

The Kingdom of Vale... The location of the prestigious institution; Beacon Academy, ran by Professor Ozpin. With the objective to train young huntsmen and huntresses to fend off against the Creatures of Grimm that plague Remnant. Being a school that specializes in training hunters, one must possess the basic understandings of combat in order to attend, though there have been exceptions for those lucky few.

One young hunter who's past life is shrouded in mysteries, was invited to attend Beacon Academy by the professor himself and took the boy under his wing. In a way, Ozpin adopted the boy as his son.

This boy goes by the name, Kris Silverlight, and has proved himself to be a capable fighter in the eyes of the professor. Kris lacks any usage of Dust and even a Semblance, which only serves to impress Ozpin more.

What makes up for his lack of abilities however, is the OOO Driver; A device from ancient times that was believed to have nearly led mankind to extinction. Something that Ozpin is unsure of how or where Kris managed to obtain such a dangerous artifact.

Nevertheless, the professor learned to trust Kris with the OOO Driver and enrolls the boy to Beacon Academy.

"So this is Beacon Academy, huh?"

Kris breathed as he stared at the large building infront of him after stepping out of an aircraft.

The boy took out a black handheld device that splits open upon pressing the yellow diamond-shaped button, exposing a blue holographic screen. Kris scrolled through the screen until he found the call app.

Meanwhile...

"Professor Ozpin, what is it that you called me to your office for?"

A woman in a white long-sleeved blouse and a black high-waisted pencil skirt asked as she stepped into the professor's office.

There, stood Professor Ozpin, observing all the new attendees through the window. Upon hearing the woman's voice, he spun around and thanks her for arriving at the perfect time.

"Ah, Glynda, perfect timing. Can you head over to the academy's entrance and find a boy named Kris Silverlight?" Ozpin requested as he walked over to his desk before taking a picture from the drawer and hands it to her.
