CHP.7 [Fight It Out! PT.1]

"Hey Kris! Isn't this the same way we're heading off to?" Ruby calls out the Rider.

"Of course not! Like I said, thanks to Grimm Hunter GU, I've memorized this forest from start to finish! I know everything about it's ins and outs!"

"I hate to agree with her, but Ruby's right. This feels exactly like the same way we're going before this!" Weiss intervenes.

"Alright, how do you guys suddenly know? We've passed through nothing but trees! This could be anywhere!"

"Well, you'd probably be correct. Had it not been for the fact that the way we're heading off to is just the same road slightly veered to the right!" Ruby points out.

Kris stayed silent for a moment before admitting defeat.

"Okay fine, maybe we are heading off to the same way but I can guarantee you..
We will not end up at the structure!"

"We'll see about that" Ruby said before the trio of hunters continue their way to the sound of Jaune's screaming.

Back at the abandoned structure, Blake and Yang were still trying to figure out the source of the screaming, though it sounded like it was getting closer each second. They were too focused on the sound that they didn't noticed that Team RW (featuring OOO) arrived until Ruby calls out to her sister.

The two sisters embraced each other once reunited and Kris commented how cute they look as he let's Weiss down before asking her if she agrees. She didn't answer him due to the fact she was locked in her own thoughts, her face going beet red. Kris simply shrugs it off before noticing where they are, "Huh, guess we did end up at the structure after all..." the Rider thought.

Then there was Jaune, who's cry silenced after he crashed right into the tree leaves. His leg caught between the branches as he hung upside down. Kris raises his hand, greeting him and asked how he's doing, completely ignoring the fact that he might need help. And Jaune didn't asked for help either, he simply greets him before weakly answering that he's doing great.

That wasn't the end however, as two more people showed up. It started when Blake and Yang turned their heads to the sound of falling trees before an Ursai, a large bear-like Grimm, came rushing out of the green foliage and dropping dead as they heard the cheering voice of Nora Valkyrie. And lastly was the other member of Team NR, Lie Ren, who seemed to be out of breath upon his arrival.

Kris watched everything happened just a few feet away, from Nora picking up the golden king piece and singing this "I'm Queen of the castle" song of her's before being scolded by Ren. "Hmm... Beacon sure has a some very interesting students" the Rider thought before his ears caught the faint sound of gunshots in the distance.

"Do you guys hear that?" Kris asked to those near him, those being Ruby, Blake and Yang of course. "Hear what?" Ruby questioned and Blake spoke up, saying that she heard it as well. As they turn to where it came from, Pyrrha came running out of the forest, then Birth who stopped to look back before firing his gun multiple times at a large black scorpion after it came terrorizing through green foliage.

"Birth!? And a Death Stalker!?" Kris exclaimed, gaining the attention of the aforementioned Rider. "Did they just run all the way here with a Death Stalker on their tail" Blake asked and Yang suddenly bursts into explosive anger as her eyes flared a deep crimson while her body was covered in a fiery aura. "I can't take this anymore! Can everyone just chill for two seconds before something crazy happens again!?" she yelled in frustration.

In those two seconds, everyone just stood still, probably directing their attention elsewhere while Nora lightly bounce in anticipation while Ren approached her, still tired out somehow... "Welp, that's two seconds passed. I'm heading off to help Birth fight off the giant arachnid, feel free if you wanna join. See ya!" Kris spoke before rushing off to aid Birth.
