With Kris threatening them back into the woods to refill their jar, Team CRDL find themselves somewhere deep, secluded and far away from the other two teams. Their conflict however, hasn't seen the end of it as Cardin is berating Sky for his incompetence, with the latter defending himself, saying that he just slipped and that it was purely accidental. "If only you had the backbone to just follow my orders, we wouldn't have been launched 50 feet into the air!", Cardin yelled, while Sky argued, "But I swear it was an accident! I would've been able to hit him!".

Hearing this, Cardin turned to face Sky and asked that if he could, why didn't he managed to hit Kris, causing Sky to go dead silent as he slowly averted his eyes from his leader. "Hmph... Thought so...", Cardin scoffed before he looks down to the jar on the ground and kicks it towards Sky. "Listen, just fill up my jar and we'll call this quits. If you can do that, I'll forgive you...", he requested in a more softer sounding voice. Sky picked up the jar and promises Cardin that he'll get it done without issue.

Cardin watched as Sky ran off before going for an aimless stroll. He sighed as he continued into the forest, kicking any small rocks he came across. "Tch... Kris Silverlight... One of these days, I will get you. Mark my words", he swore under his breath as he noticed a slightly larger rock, he kneeled down to pick it up before looking at a tree nearby. He glanced back to the rock and then back at the tree before he threw the rock at it with all his might and pent up anger, exclaiming, "Mark my words!".

Just then, a hand caught the flying rock before dropping it back to the ground. Cardin eyes widened when he saw an elderly man in a lab coat, possessing long, silky smooth silver hair, reaching all the way down to his ankles. As well as a silver beard to go along with his hair. He addressed Cardin by his full name, which did put him on edge a bit, and asks if he was having issues with the one named "Kris Silverlight".

"Huh? Yeah. Why? Is he your son or something?", Cardin asked the stranger.

"Far from it... I simply view him as my target. I seek out those who have a vendetta against him and asks those who do join my side", the old man explained. Cardin aggressively declines his offer, not only telling the old man to get lost, but he also said that he doesn't need help from some hitman, scientist wannabe. The old man didn't seem to take any offence to Cardin's words, well on the outside at least. Cardin claims he has more important business than joining some random gang before turning around and continuing his stroll.

Suddenly, Cardin felt something flew past his face at incredible speeds. Whatever it was, went by so fast that it was able to penetrate several trunks of the trees, even causing them to fall. He looked back to the old man, who laments over Cardin's "wasted potential", before suggesting that he could be used as a perfect test subject instead.

"W-What are you!? Get away!", Cardin yelled in a shaky voice, fearing for his life as he backed away from the old man.

"Allow me to introduce myself, Cardin Winchester. I simply go by the name Guraed... However, most people would recognize me as; The Devil Alchemist", he proclaims before taking out an altered OOO Driver and inserting three dark blue Core Medals into the slot. He tilts the buckle slightly before scanning the front surface of the buckle with the just as altered OOO Scanner.
