It wasn't meant to be.

"Adrien there's nothing you can do, he's your father."Tiki reminded Adrien for probably the 5th time already. It's Sunday morning but Adrien hasn't been allowed to do anything since he got into that fight with Luka. His phone was taken away and the only person he's been able to speak to was Natalie since his mom was still in the hospital.

"He can't just stop me from speaking with my friends?! And I can't just leave Marinette in the blue, I'm sure she doesn't have a clue what happened!" Adrien sat down on his bed

"She'll just have to wait till school then, Marinette's a smart girl Adrien, she'll be okay."Tiki patted Adrien on his back but there was a sudden knock at his door. it opened and Nathalie walked in.

"Adrien, your father said you're allowed to go outside." a smile quickly grew on Adriens face

"As long as you're with Kagami. She'll be here in the next few minutes for you."The smile was quickly wiped off his face. He didn't hate Kagami but it seemed everyone around him was rooting for them to get together, Kagami was a very nice girl, she was smart, honest, and loyal. She's made Adrien fumble a few times but when he's around Marinette it's a completely different story, and let's not forget Ladynoir.

As Adrien sat down in his bed still thinking about who he truly loved he heard a car come in through his driveway. After a little while Adrien and Kagami took a short walk around Paris. Kagami was doing most of the talking and Although Adrien was trying to listen he just felt upset about everything that was going on.

"Adrien!"A voice called from behind them, they turned around and Lila was running towards them, as she walked over she stumbled on her feet making Kagami fall onto Adrien, making Adrien and Kagami kiss.

Adrien was in his own world, he had already adjusted his hand on Kagami's waist he deepened the kiss but she ended up pulling away. He blushed realizing Lila was still there.

"Soo Adrien, who's this?"Lila laughed but Adrien couldn't help blushing

"Lila, this is ... My Girlfriend, Kagami. Kagami, This is my friend, Lila."Adrien said and the two girls shook hands. Lila ended up walking away leaving Adrien and Kagami by themselves again, but Adrien couldn't dare to look at Kagami.

"so I'm your girlfriend now?"Kagami laughed making Adrien blush. They ended up finishing up their walk by going to the bakery together. Adrien was thinking to himself, did he really love Kagami or was it just the thrill of being around Kagami? Either way, there was no turning back now as he already announced her as his girlfriend.

they enter the bakery and Marinette's standing at the register on her phone, with her other hand in her pocket. She sees Adrien and a smile quickly forms

"Adrien? What happened?"

"Nothing serious, ill catch you up when we're back in school," Adrien said before he made his order, as Marinette went to the back of the bakery to grab extra boxes Kagami held his hand as they waited. Marinette came back her mouth dropped but was quickly changed with a smile.

"So Adrien, you got yourself a girlfriend, "Marinette whispered as she handed Adrien the box of macaroons. He laughed and replied

"Marinette, this is my girlfriend, Kagami."Kagami smiled at Marinette which Marinette replied the same. The two of them left the bakery but even after they were gone something felt different to Marinette. In her heart, she felt that things won't be the same between them anymore.

"Marinette, Luka texted you."plagg said from underneath the register, he handed her the phone and she looked at what he sent. It's been a while since they talked to each other.
