[ THE NEXT DAY ]

⎯⎯ ୨ CLEMENTINE'S ୧ ⎯⎯

I woke up earlier than I should've due to not being able to sleep very well as what had happened yesterday keeps on replaying in my mind—rent fucking free. Thank goodness. Usually whenever I drink the day before or the night prior, I tend to have a hard time waking up early—but do note, I have a high alcohol tolerance and experiencing a hangover is not usual for me. Honestly, as bad as this sounds, alcoholic beverages are like my own take of 'calming pill' as in a way, it does give me a bit of calming feel especially whenever I am troubled or have a lot in my mind. So, the reason why there are times why I have a hard time waking is due to my body just lacking sleep or wanting more sleep—like today.

I turned to look at the clock on my bedside table to see the time which made me let out a groan. It's freaking 5:20 in the morning! I don't have to be at the company until later at 9am. At this point, I know I wouldn't be able to sleep anymore so I dragged myself out of my bed and proceed to do my morning routine.

After that, I inserted a quick vacuuming of the room and disposal of the garbage and then turned off the appliances. Then, I decided to just head out and attend a pilates class before I go do my workout at a gym. With those in mind, I grabbed my two bags (the shoulder bag I brought with me and a tote bag with a change of clothes after my gym workout) and last is my keys. I made sure every door was locked before I headed to my car and then drove off to my pilates session scheduled for 6:30 am.

Since it's still early, I ended up hitting a very early pilates class for an hour and then went to a gym close to the pilates class to hit another hour of workout. Yes, you read it right. My routine usually consists of a combined pilates and gym workout routine that was tailored by my personal trainer and coach from track sports.

Moving forward, after getting ready yet again at the gym's shower room, I thanked the staff and left to drive to our dorm to meet the boys with quick to-go food and drinks in hand. While driving, I couldn't help but be in deep thoughts about what had happened yesterday... gosh, it still bugs me even though I got used to that type of treatment from them.

"They can't know about this," I said to myself.

Not long after, I arrived at the dorm just in time to see most of the boys now ready at this point and are just waiting for our managers to arrive to come pick us up. As I stepped out of my car and approached the dorm, I plastered a bright smile on my face, masking the turmoil churning within me. The boys greeted me with cheerful hellos and playful banter, but beneath the façade of normalcy, I could sense their curiosity, their concern.
