Sariel
09/03/2006 - Lunch.

I looked around the tables to see if there was anywhere for me to sit, and I spotted a single seat just for me.

"Jeez, what a relief." I thought to myself as I grabbed myself a slice of pizza from my lunch box. This school was a freak show...a girl kept staring at me for several minutes while I was trying to draw from my journal. I never even wanted to see that happen to me, perhaps school is more complicated then what I have experienced back at home. While I was eating my pizza, I saw the girl again..."Kristina", whatever her name is. She was with a girl and they sat together at lunch, I wonder what they are talking about?

"We have to set you up with Sariel." Magdalene took out her lunch as she took a look over a shoulder to see what I was doing. I caught her attention and she looked right at Kristina,

"Oh shit, he's staring at us."

"Oh, he is?" Kristina turned back as I gazed at her. She faced forward to Magdalene and said "—I think he likes me."

"Are you crazy? How do you know? I just told you...I want to set you guys up for a little...well...somewhat 'date' perhaps." Magdalene walked towards me and grabbed Kristina's hand, "—Let's go."

"Now? But I-" Kristina then nervously walked towards me as I glared at both of the girls,

"Hello." I said roughly, they both look at me like I'm some kind of alien.

"Hey! You're Sariel Kaulitz, right?"

"Mhm, that's me."

"You've met Kristina, right? Isn't she the dearest to guide you in class?" Magdalene hugged Kristina tightly. Clearly she looked uncomfortable when she saw me,

"Yes, she is in my chemistry class. What's the issue?"

"Well...she was wondering if you guys would like to hangout after school sometime? Would that work?" Magdalene smiled, but then I looked back at Kristina,

"Alright, sure."

"Y-you agree? I mean..." Kristina started to blush, she looked down at the floor rather than having eye contact to me. I tried to gain her attention back—

"Of course. After all, it's nice meeting new people in a new school, right?"

"Yeah! Of course!" She immediately looked at me as she smiled, and of course, I smiled back. Magdalene looked over her shoulder,

"I guess my idea is now yours." She whispered as Kristina rolled her eyes, and I watched them as they giggled with each other. This will be an interesting gathering.

After School.

It was finally the end of school, what a relief! I waved Maggie goodbye as she head towards her bus, but I was supposed to meet up with Sariel after school. I looked around and I spotted him sitting on one of the benches near the buses. I ran towards him and he gave me a quick glance,

"Ah, hello Kristina." Sariel closed up his journal quickly and I looked at what it was,

"Hey Sariel, is that your drawing journal?"

"Um...yes." He looked nervous as I asked him that question, strange.

"Alright, where should we go to hangout? Where do you usually hangout with your friends?" I smiled and he scratched his neck,

"Wherever you want to go. I usually don't go anywhere to special."

"No, no...I want to make this special for you. Where would you like to-"

Sariel then gave me an annoyed look, "Kristina, please. Just choose a spot."

"Oh, okay- Uhm...what about the local park? Me and my friend always go there to relax."

"Sure thing..." He finally felt relaxed as we walked to the park. It took us 20 minutes to get there and it used to be my favorite spot where me and Maggie went. The park had huge trees with falling leaves, a beautiful lake with swimming ducks, and also a cafe where we can hangout and eat delicious treats. Me and Sariel went and sat down near the lake. He looked pretty nervous and kept looking back and forth for some reason,

"Sariel? Is everything okay?...you don't seem too excited." I tried to hold his hand, but he brushed it off from me,

"I'm alright, thank you. I just am...insecure, I suppose." Sariel nervously smiled as he held my hand. When we sat down on the benches, we picked up some great conversations. The thing is, he never really mentioned how his parents are, if he has any siblings...nobody.

"Sooo, Sariel? Where do you come from? You have a pretty thick accent, and I'm not familiar with much." I said as I grabbed a leftover of sandwich that I had from my lunch today,

"I'm from Russia." He answered right away, and I noticed he was sort of shaking.

"You seem pretty nervous, is everything-"

"I'M OKAY!" He nervously got up and looked at me in pure anger. I didn't mean to make him upset...did I?

"I-I'm sorry Sariel-"

"Why do you people ask ridiculous questions?! Seriously?!" He paced back and forth as I tried to calm him down.

"I'm not trying to make you feel uncomfortable...I just want you to be okay...that's all." I then touched his shoulders and he stopped shaking. It feels like he's never laid eyes on someone, I can't seem to understand why...

Heading Home.

After the little gathering I had with Kristina, she kept trying to comfort me but it seemed to work. I felt like I was being loved again...sort of. She seemed unique. I'm sure she has nice parents, maybe siblings as well? I head home and waved goodbye to Kristina. I did not feel like heading home, so I took a stroll down on the streets. Filth.

"Look at these idiots..." I giggled as I saw so many people sitting down on the roads.

"Would you like to spare some change? I'm selling some Cotton Candy for-"

I immediately shook my head, "—No. I fucking hate cotton candy." And the man seemed upset. Whatever, it's not like I cared anyway. I decided to head home, the streets are making me feel sick. I opened the door to my house and saw my caretaker already waiting for me.

"You're late." Ms. Kalev looked at me dead in the eyes. I didn't want to panic, but I did.

"Sorry." I walked past her right away and she grabbed my hand tightly,

"Seriously? That's it? You know you have a limit for how long you're supposed to stay after school, right? Didn't your parents teach you that?" Ms. Kalev cold heartedly said that as I left the room without even looking at her. I fucking hated this. Why did I have to be stuck in this damn asylum? Seriously? I'm sure Kristina will still like me as a friend...surely.
