As the door closed behind his departing friends, Jake leaned his forehead against it, closed his eyes, and let out a deep sigh. The entire place was filled with a mix of lingering laughter and the contentment of their time together. He turned around, only to find Heeseung leaning over him, hands braced on either side of Jake's head against the door. The unexpected sight made him jump slightly, and he couldn't help but exclaim, "You scared me!"
Heeseung's response was a sheepish smile, one that conveyed both apology and mischief. Jake shook his head in mild disbelief. "I told you to go to your room while I bid everyone goodbye," he chided gently.
Despite the gentle scolding, Heeseung's determination was clear as he pressed closer, leaning down so his head rested on Jake's shoulder. The touch of Heeseung's nose against his neck sent a shiver down his spine, and Heeseung's whispered words, "Missed you," melted away any annoyance.
Sighing softly, Jake carded his fingers through Heeseung's hair, a soothing gesture that matched the intimate atmosphere. They stayed in that quiet embrace, finding comfort in each other's presence.
But the tranquility was soon disrupted by Heeseung's lips peppering kisses onto Jake's neck. Jake's breath hitched, his cheeks flushed as he tried to maintain his composure. "Hey, calm down," he murmured, his voice a mix of amusement and gentle reprimand.
Undeterred, Heeseung persisted with a groan as he came closer, his murmured words brushing against Jake's skin. "I want to have sex."
Jake's blush deepened, and he responded quickly, "No, absolutely not! You're sick."
The whining continued, and Heeseung's voice danced in the air like a gentle plea, "Sex."
With an affectionate roll of his eyes, Jake tried to be firm, telling Heeseung to get a grip. Despite his best efforts, he couldn't ignore the feeling of Heeseung's warm breath against his neck and the softness of their close proximity.
Refusing to give in to the moment, Jake gently pushed Heeseung away, a knowing smile curving on his lips. He led Heeseung back to his bedroom, their fingers intertwined.

Heeseung stood in front of his bed, pulling his pants on as he meandered around the house shirtless. The sound of the shower running indicated that Jake was busy in the bathroom. Heeseung plopped down onto his bed, his posture casual as he allowed his legs to stretch comfortably. It wasn't long before the vibration of his phone alerted him to an incoming call. Raising an eyebrow in curiosity, he picked up the call.
"Hey dad," Heeseung greeted with a warm smile, his eyebrows still slightly raised in surprise.
His father's voice came through the phone, friendly and cheerful. After exchanging greetings, Heeseung's curiosity got the better of him. "So, what's the occasion?"
His father's chuckle was lighthearted as he responded, "Your mom and I thought we'd drop by in about three hours or so."
Heeseung's heart seemed to pause for a moment before he quickly regained his composure. "Oh, sure, you're always welcome. Looking forward to it."
His father's teasing tone was evident. "I knew you'd say that. Alright, take care, I'll see you soon!"
As the call ended, Heeseung softly chuckled to himself. It was always nice to hear from his parents, even if the sudden announcement of their visit had taken him by surprise. Just then, Jake emerged from the bathroom, clad in Heeseung's sweatpants that were comically oversized on him, along with a hoodie that belonged to Heeseung as well.
The sight of Jake in his clothes, the sweatpants riding low on his hips and the hoodie enveloping him, caused a flush to creep up Heeseung's ears. Before he could react, Jake's voice broke through his thoughts.
"Put a shirt on, seriously."
Heeseung's lips curled into a mischievous smirk, his playful nature taking over. "Are you getting flustered because I'm shirtless?"
Jake's blush deepened, but he responded with an exasperated tone, "Of course, I am. I have a boyfriend who's ridiculously sexy."
Pushing his luck, Heeseung leaned in closer, their faces mere inches apart. "So, you're flustered because I'm sexy?"
Jake's retort was quick. "Of course, and that's why you need to put a shirt on. Also, you've just recovered and there's a strong chance that your fever could come back."
Heeseung's smirk remained as he challenged Jake's concern. "But my immunity is strong, and the AC is on to keep me warm."
With an eye roll, Jake grabbed a dress shirt from Heeseung's closet, then walked back to him. Heeseung's playful smirk only grew wider. "Put it on for me."
Jake huffed in a mix of annoyance and embarrassment, though he eventually gave in. Guiding Heeseung to stand up, he helped him into the shirt and began buttoning it up. Heeseung's voice, husky and teasing, cut through the air. "You're acting like my wife."
Jake's gaze met Heeseung's as he finished with the buttons, his heart racing under Heeseung's intense scrutiny. "Maybe I am your wife at this point."
Biting his lip, Heeseung's arm quickly snaked around Jake's waist while the other cradled the back of his head. Their lips met in a kiss, a silent exchange of emotions that needed no words. Jake's fingers traced soothing patterns on the back of Heeseung's neck, their breaths mingling.
They broke apart, their chests heaving, a thin string of saliva connecting their lips before it snapped. Heeseung's gaze held a warm fondness as he spoke. "My dad called. He and my mother are dropping by."
Jake's tone was laced with amusement as he responded, "Good luck with that. I'll be leaving then."
Jake's mention of leaving prompted a frown from Heeseung. "Why do you have to go?"
Jake pressed a soft kiss to Heeseung's cheek, his eyes tender. "Just giving you and your parents some privacy. Don't worry, I'll be back once they're gone."
As Heeseung walked Jake to the door, his voice grew soft. "Walk safely. If you change your mind, let me know."
But before Jake could say his goodbye, Heeseung pulled him in for another kiss.
