Heeseung's face tightened as he recounted the heated exchange to Jay and Sunghoon, his frustration and hurt evident in his words. "I mean, can you believe it? After all this time, he just shows up and acts like nothing happened. And when I try to talk to him about it, he doesn't want to answer."
Jay exchanged a glance with Sunghoon before speaking, his voice measured. "Heeseung hyung, I get that you're upset, but it sounds like things got pretty intense between you two."
Sunghoon chimed in, his concern evident. "Yeah, it's important to remember that he's been through something too. He probably had reasons for his actions."
Heeseung's brows furrowed, a hint of defensiveness in his voice. "I know he's been through something, but that doesn't give him the right to just shut everyone out and then come back expecting everything to be fine."
Jay leaned forward, his expression serious. "We're not saying he's right in how he handled things, but it's also important to consider his perspective."
Sunghoon nodded, his tone gentle. "And maybe you were a bit harsh on him too."
Heeseung's eyes narrowed, and he crossed his arms. "So, what, you're both taking his side now?"
Jay's tone was calm but firm. "We're not taking sides, hyung. We just think there might be more to this story than you're seeing."
Sunghoon added, his voice soothing. "Maybe you should try talking to him again, but in a more understanding way. It could clear things up."
Heeseung shook his head, his frustration evident. "I just don't get why he wouldn't attend his lectures. We had important things, and he just skipped them."
Jay sighed, his voice sympathetic. "Look, hyung, feelings are complicated. People don't always make rational decisions when they're going through tough things."
Sunghoon's gaze softened as he looked at Heeseung. "We know you care about him, but maybe it's time to have an open conversation without arguing."
Heeseung's jaw tightened, his stubbornness evident. "I appreciate your advice, but I just can't talk to him right now."
Jay's tone was understanding, but he remained firm. "No one's saying you should talking to him immediately, but holding onto this anger won't do you any good either."
Sunghoon's voice was gentle as he spoke. "At the end of the day, it's your decision, hyung. But remember, we're here for you too."
Heeseung's gaze softened slightly as he looked at his friends. Despite their differing opinions, he knew they cared about him and had his best interests at heart. "Thanks, guys. I'll think about it."
As Heeseung left the conversation, he couldn't deny the seeds of doubt that had been planted in his mind. While he still held onto his frustration, Jay and Sunghoon's words had made him question whether he had been too quick to judge Jake. It was a difficult situation, and he knew he needed to find a balance between his own feelings and the need for understanding.
