Heeseung's eyes slowly blinked open, the soft morning light filtering through the window. It took him a moment to process his surroundings, and when he did, his eyebrows shot up in astonishment. Jake was sitting on his lap, hugging him tightly in his sleep. The unexpected scenario left Heeseung momentarily bewildered, his brain still foggy from sleep.
Shaking off his sleep-induced confusion, Heeseung cleared his throat and gently nudged Jake's shoulder. "Jake, wake up."
Jake stirred but didn't fully wake up, his grip on Heeseung only tightening. "Five more minutes, Dad," he mumbled sleepily.
Heeseung's lips quirked into a bemused smile at Jake's drowsy response. He nudged Jake a bit more insistently. "Jake, seriously, wake up."
Jake's brows furrowed, and he let out a soft groan. "Mm, just... let me sleep a little more."
Realization hit Jake like a sudden jolt, and his eyes snapped open. His face turned beet red as he scrambled off Heeseung's lap, the reality of their position finally sinking in. He practically tripped over his own feet in his haste to distance himself from Heeseung.
"What the actual hell?!" Jake's voice was a mix of surprise and irritation as he turned to face Heeseung. "How the fuck did we end up like that?"
Heeseung propped himself up on his elbows, his lips twitching with amusement. "Beats me. I didn't realize I'd signed up for 'Jake's Human Pillow' duty."
Jake's cheeks burned with embarrassment, and he crossed his arms defensively. "Oh, shut up. I can't believe this happened."
Heeseung's gaze softened, and he chuckled softly. "Relax, it's not like I planned for it either."
Jake scowled, clearly not in the mood for Heeseung's teasing. "Just give me a straight answer for once. How did we end up like that?"
Heeseung sighed, a playful glint in his eyes. "Honestly, I have no idea. I was asleep, too. Not like I was plotting how to get you to cuddle up with me."
Jake's jaw tightened, and he looked away, clearly flustered. He couldn't just stand there, so he began rummaging around the room, looking for his phone. His frustration only grew when he remembered that both his and Heeseung's phones had been taken away due to their fude or whatever.
"Of course, I can't even have my phone to distract me from this humiliation," Jake muttered under his breath, cursing his luck.
Heeseung's grin widened, and he raised an eyebrow. "Looking for something?"
Jake clenched his fists, feeling the heat of embarrassment once again. "Shut up. This is all your fault, somehow."
Heeseung chuckled, clearly enjoying Jake's discomfort. "Sure, blame me for your sleepwalking escapades."

As the awkward silence between Jake and Heeseung stretched on, a sudden sound at the door caused them both to turn. The doorknob turned, and Professor Jung walked in, his expression a mix of surprise and amusement as he took in the scene before him.
"Well, well," Professor Jung began, a hint of amusement in his voice. "I never thought I'd see the day where you two would be so cozy with each other."
Jake's cheeks flared with embarrassment, and he crossed his arms over his chest defensively. "It's not what it looks like. We didn't do this on purpose."
Heeseung's lips twitched into a smirk as he looked at Professor Jung. "Yeah, it's all a big misunderstanding."
Professor Jung chuckled, shaking his head. "I believe you. It's just amusing to find you both in such a predicament."
