Lilly's POV
I stood in her doorway trying to figure out how the fuck I was going to get these two large suitcases down stairs. Walking to the top of the stairs I leaned over the banister shouting for my brother "Romey! I need your help! I can't get this down the stairs!"I heard my brother start walking towards the stairs as I walked back into my room to start gathering my smaller travel bag.
"Are we really about to do this?" Romeo asks with a big grin on his face as he leans against my door frame. " You know pops would have a fit if he found out what kind of place you are about to be in."
"I know that's why I dragged you into this so they wouldn't freak out as much." I replied laughing as I put my hands on my hips. Romeo just laughs while rolling his eyes.
Being the only girl and youngest of 4 in a big Italian family meant that I was constantly being overprotected by the men in my family. Which is why Romeo my twin got roped into a lot of plans to give my dad and older brothers some peace of mind. This was also the first summer after half the family had moved back to Italy, my parents included. Which is why when I saw auditions for a show that would take me away to party in the Jersey Shore all summer I jumped at the chance to run with my newfound freedom. So Romey and I packed our things and told our older brothers we wouldn't be home all summer.
I walked over and wrapped my arms around his midsection in a hug. Out of all my other brothers Romeo was the one I was closest to. It made sense since we were twins but he was also my best friend. He knows to let me do my thing and when to step in to make sure I'm ok. "Thanks for doing this with me. I don't know how I would've done summer without you twin."
He sighed while wrapping his arm around my shoulder and resting his chin on top of my head. "Me either sissy. And you owe me since I took the heat when Alessandro found out we did this without talking to them. You're lucky he is on a business trip right now."
Alessandro is my eldest brother who has taken on the head of the family role with my parents being in Italy. All four of us siblings still live together in our parents' home. Being from a traditional Italian family it's pretty normal that none of us intended to leave our childhood home until we planned to get married.
I looked up at Romeo giving him my best puppy dog eyes "Will you please put these in the car?" Romey rolled his eyes.
"Fine. Let's go, but I swear Lilly if you are the reason I get in a fight again this summer you are buying all my drinks. " I grinned at him as I let him go to snatch up my small bag and purse.
Romeo loaded up our bags in the Tahoe as I made sure I had everything I needed in my purse. "Liliana, what the fuck did you pack! Why Does it feel like you have a whole ass weight set in here." Romey bitched as he closed the trunk and started walking towards me by the driver door. He frowned "What are you doing?"
"I'm driving," I said, looking at him questioningly.
"HA! Fuck that I want to actually survive the drive to enjoy the summer." He says nudging me out the way and unlocking the car. I roll my eyes and walk towards the passenger side.
