The castle duo found themselves in Raine's bedroom. The smell of woodwind instruments stained the atmosphere. "Please sit down, I'll get us some tea started." rain ushered the Golden Gaurd. As they start preparation for said tea.
"I still don't understand what you were referring to when you said you knew more about Crow than me his partner on most missions." Golden Garud puffs his chest out with pride. "not to brag but I know more about him than even that oracle Monark knows"
Meanwhile at Hexside Blue sneezes. "Some brat must be talking about me"
Returning to the bedroom Raine hands Golden Garud his cup of tea. "yes yes im sure." they begin to sit down. "truth of the matter is that I knew Crow when he was still little. Well to be more exact since Belos took him in". He sips his tea.
☕Flash back☕
"back then Crow was a prodigy in magic so Bellos had him learn Abononation magic"
A little crow is shown wiping at dummies with abomination goop. Crow's eyes begin to glow purple while the goop in his hand begins to act out wilder than before. One wipe was able to take out several dummies at once but after a while, Crow starts to pant.
"Even if he's a prodigy his body still needs rest." rain sips on their tea "Magic Is linked to a witch's emotions. So if you applied a lot of stress on yourself like Crow purposely did you will can more power but your body takes a severe toll"
A younger-looking rain bends down to the little Crow "Hey buddy I think we should go take a rest now. It's not good to push yourself like this"
Crow pushed Raine away "No I have to be stronger but I need to be seen as a worthy guard to the empire," he says while his hand begins to shake as he draws another spell cycle.
"Oh that's too bad I was going to teach you this extra powerful Bard magic that will keep you healthy and strong but oh well," Raine says as they turn on their heels to turn away only to feel small hands grab their shirt.
"No please teach me how to play"
