Today's the boy's football game and I couldn't be more excited to watch and cheer for them. I know how hard they have worked to ensure they win today's game. Milo told me about how college scouts will be there watching how they play. I of course told him not to worry and that he will do just fine even if there are watching. I was now headed to my first class of the day "Julieee" I heard someone yell. Looking around I spotted Maya walking toward me. "Hey girl are you ready for Mr. Johnson to give us our test results back? I'm hearing some people say that the test was hard and some people say that it was easy" she said.
We had a math test yesterday and I think that I did well on it. It wasn't that hard for me. I made sure to study a lot for it that was the test that I was helping Milo study for. I really want to know what he got because he did good when I was testing him and helping him study so I'm hoping he used what we studied and what I taught him on the test. "Yeah I'm ready I hope I did well on it because I studied a lot for that test," I said as we both walked to our math class. 'Same and I honestly dont like studying I get distracted too quickly or I get bored but I try my best. It's our last year II'm not going to start failing now ". " Yeah studying can get tiring after a while but once you take the test and get a good grade it makes all that studying worth it" Maya nodded agreeing with me.
Both walking in class we took our seats. "Good Morning Everyone, I hope you guys are ready for your test results. I can tell who studied for this test and who didn't so don't be surprised with your results if you know that you didn't even bother to study. Also if you were not here yesterday to take it please let me know before class ends so that we can see when you can take the test" Mr Johnson said. "Yes Emma," he said. "I have a question: what happens if you get a bad grade or you fail? Can we retake it?" she asked. "I haven't decided yet if I want to give you guys that option but when I do I will let you know," he said. "Ok," Emma nodded.
"Ok, I will start handing your test back to you". He started with the people in the front and he made his way towards me and Maya. "Excellent work Juliette and Maya," he said handing us our test. Flipping my test over I saw a big nice 100 on the front. "Yes I got a 100. I knew all my studying would pay off," I said. "What did you get Maya". "I got a 90 that's better than what I expected. I'm just happy I got a good grade. I hate having to retake a test," she said.
Agreeing with her you could hear mixed reactions to people seeing the grade they got. Some people were happy, some people thought they did ok, and some people didn't care as long as they got above a 65 they were happy. 65 and above means you passed and 64 and below means you failed.
For the rest of the class, the teacher talked to us about the new math topic that we will be starting. After we finished our first class, me and Maya both went to our second class. It went by pretty quickly. The bell had rung and me and Maya were on our way to our next class."See you at lunch," Maya said while heading to her next class. She has Spanish class now and I have Ela class. Walking to my class "You look pretty today. Not that you don't look pretty every day. " a familiar voice said. Looking behind me Milo was there. "Thank you, Milo". Looking him over he was wearing beige color cargo pants, a beige hat, blue Jordans, and a blue and beige jacket to match.
