Chapter 14: Happy

Yesterday's date was beyond beautiful. I loved everything about it. I would have never thought that me the shy school girl would be dating the popular football guy. I was still super happy and overwhelmed with everything that happened yesterday that it took me a while to fall asleep. Everything was just so perfect and Milo was just so perfect that I was full of happiness that no one could ruin today. Getting out of my bed I went to the bathroom and started doing my morning routine. I was feeling happy and energetic today.

Once I finished in the bathroom I went into my room and grabbed my phone heading downstairs. "Good morning Dad," I said happily. "Good morning sweetheart, what's got you in such a good mood this morning?" he asked. "Nothing, I'm just in a good mood today," I said while walking away, not wanting him to ask any more questions. "Good morning mom, what are you cooking". "Good morning sweetie and I'm cooking salami with cheese for breakfast today. I know you love it" she said. Omg yes, I love salami, it tastes so good, and the cheese. "So how did yesterday go? You seemed super happy when you came home yesterday," she asked.

"Ok, so where do I even start? Yesterday was beautiful. My first date was beyond successful. I loved everything about it" I said. "So while driving he told me that I had to be blindfolded because he wanted it to be a surprise. I was a little skeptical but I trusted him so he blindfolded me and then once we made it to our destination he helped me out of the car and he slowly and carefully guided me to where we were going.

Once we stopped walking he told me to wait a little and after I waited he took my blindfold off he had the most beautiful and amazing picnic set out for us and it was so freaking cute. We were at the beach and it was perfect timing because we got to sit together and watch the sunset.

The sunset was beautiful. I made sure to take pictures of it. Then after everything at the end of the date, he asked me to be his girlfriend. I was super nervous because I didn't think he liked me too, but I was happy and said yes. "Wow sweetheart that sounds lovely. I'm glad your first date was a success and I'm glad that he's treating you right. I will give you some time together before I ask you to ask him and his mom to come over for dinner one day. I would love to get to know him and his mom" my mom said.

One thing about my mom is she's very outgoing, so she loves to meet new people and make new friends. My dad on the other hand likes to stick to the people he's already friends with. He doesn't really like making new friends that much. After catching up with my mom we all sat down for a quick breakfast and we got to talk to each other about how our days were going. I never really cared about having a reason as to why I wanted to go to school but now I couldn't wait to see Milo tomorrow. Even though I was most likely going to Facetime him before I go to sleep today.

But I first have to call Maya and catch her up on how the date went. She's going to be beyond happy for me. She's my biggest supporter and I'm her biggest supporter. I don't know what I would do without her.

Once we finished eating breakfast I went back up to my room just to lay back in my bed and scroll on TikTok. I didn't stay watching TikTok for too long because I had too much energy so I decided to clean my room and make sure everything was organized. Having a clean room and having my things organized made me happy. I just didn't like it when things were messy and all over the place it gets me irritated very quickly. I put my phone on the charger and grabbed my speaker so that while I cleaned I could listen to music. It helps me clean quicker and not get bored and lazy.

I had just finished being on the phone with Maya and telling her all about my date. She was beyond happy for me and said that me and Milo make a cute couple. Plugging up my phone so it could charge while I took a shower I got out of my bed and went to the bathroom. Turning on the water in the shower I got undressed and let the water run all over my body. It felt good to be taking a shower after I cleaned and organized my room today. My room wasn't that dirty; so it didn't take long to clean. But the organizing part was a process. I had clothes everywhere since I couldn't find anything for me to wear for my date until Maya showed up.

I feel beyond tired because after I cleaned my room I finished some homework assignments that I had to get done. I'm so glad that we don't have any test coming up yet. Taking tests and exams make me super nervous because I don't know if I'm going to understand what the test is about or not. I might be smart but I do struggle sometimes. You have to make mistakes in life its apart of the learning process. I used to be so disappointed in myself when I would get a bad grade but my mom would always lift me up and tell me that it's just the process of learning and I can always try again. Learning from my mistakes has helped me get to where I am now in school getting good grades

After being in the shower for quite some time I turned the water off and grabbed my towel. Drying myself off. I did my night time routine and moisturized my body before I threw some pajamas on and called it a night.
