Trying to get through the school day by thinking about Milo and I's date was hard. It felt like the day was going by super slowly and that it was never going to end. I found myself busying myself with loads of work to keep my mind occupied. Milo was the last person I expected to be going on my first date with. I didn't even think we would be friends. But we are and I couldn't be happier.
I was now getting out of the shower. I'm super excited but super nervous for this date. This is the first time that anyone has asked me out on a date. I made sure to take a everything shower. I washed my hair, I shaved everywhere, and I used my favorite soap that doesn't affect my skin and make it itch.
Grabbing my towel I wrapped it around my body. Standing in front of my bathroom mirror I started doing my skincare routine to make sure my face looked good and moisturized. Maya was actually in my room looking for an outfit for me to wear. I was too indecisive so I had to call for help and Maya has never let me down when I need help.
After I double cleansed my face and put my moisturizer on I started brushing my teeth and flossing. "Julie, are you almost finished in there? I picked out your outfit already" Maya said. "Yes, I'm almost done just brushing my teeth". "Ok" she replied.
Once I finished brushing my teeth I opened my bathroom door. "Finally I picked something super cute and comfortable for you to wear as Milo's request and seeing as it is your first date after all" she said showing me the outfit she picked out. Milo didn't tell me where we were or what we were doing because he wanted it to be a surprise but he did tell me to dress comfortably and cute. She picked me out a beautiful white sundress with pink flowers on it. It was beautiful. She paired it with white sandals and a white purse.
"This dress is so cute I love it. You're always a lifesaver when I need to find something to wear. Love you and thank you". "That's what best friends are for. Now go get dressed". Before I went back to the bathroom I grabbed a pair of underwear and a bra. In the bathroom I took my towel off and grabbed my lotion and shea butter. Can't have dry skin. Gotta stay moisturized. I picked out a beautiful matching set. It kinda matched my dress.
I decided to do my hair before I put my dress on so that I don't get my dress wet. I sprayed my hair with water and leave in conditioner. Rubbing the conditioner in my hair. I make sure that my curls are hydrated. Styling my hair I chose to slick the front into a little messy bun and the rest of my hair be down. It was like a half up half down hairstyle.
After I finished with my hair I put my dress on and I sprayed one of my favorite perfumes on. Kayali Vanilla Perfume 28. It smells so good. Hanging my towel to dry I left my bathroom.
"So how do I look?" I asked Maya. She looked up at me smiling. "You look absolutely gorgeous. I'm so happy for you. This is your first date, how are you feeling" she said. "I'm a little nervous but I'm excited to see what he has planned for today" I said while putting on mascara and lip gloss. I put everything that I usually carry with me in my purse. Such as my phone, chapstick, lip gloss, mascara and portable charger.
