At the moment, I was being suffocated strangled by a humanoid bear.
"(Name)! You worried me!" Bepo yelled, hugging me tighter. How do I say 'let me go' without seeming rude about it? In the most respectful way possible to prevent myself from losing blood circulation?
Ah, never mind, maybe I should just let myself lose blood circulation..
Eventually, he let go of me, giving me a chance to breathe. "..Bepo, where are we?" I asked, my vision a little blurry since I just woke up.
Bepo moved over to come and sit at my side. "This is the cave my captain was talking about, remember? The hideout?" He informed me, helping me to gain my memory back.
Looking around, I recognized the cave. "Oh, I see! Did you carry me back here?" I questioned, looking directly at him.
He nodded, giving me a slight frown. "It was strange, how you just passed out like that. My captain wanted me to ask you if it was okay if he looked into the reason why you passed out, when you woke up. So now i'm asking for him since you're awake." He told me, holding captive a worried expression.
Immediate no. Has anyone seen how scary he is when treating his 'patients'?..
"No— No! I'm very much okay.. It's just, uh.. low iron! It happens sometimes.." I tried to decline in the most convincing way.
Apparently, having 'low iron' only made Bepo even more concerned than before. "Really? Law might be able to help get rid of that." He told me again.
Can I really not escape being treated by such a scary surgeon? I'd rather die.
Then I felt something hit my shoulder rather roughly, getting my attention easily. When I turned to look, it might've been something extremely hard to believe.
But, Law was currently resting his head on my shoulder while sleeping. I didn't even know he was sitting next to me..
"Pfft— How cute." I laughed, not minding it at all. If anything, I was enjoying it. Bepo wasn't really surprised.
"Oh, yeah. Law sat next to you to make sure you didn't hurt yourself in your sleep or something. I don't remember much.. sorry.." He apologized, for some reason.
Sighing out of tiredness, I leaned my head back against the wall of the cave. Observing my surroundings, it appears Law's crew-mates were sleeping soundly. Some were dad snoring, too..
But then I remembered something important.
"..Hey, Bepo? My berries are okay, right? They're not destroyed or anything?.." I asked, sweat-dropping.
