The Elder that we were trying to restrain must've had an escape plan -- for he kicked Kashii with one of his hind hooves, and drew his blade, which we were trying so hard to prevent him from using. He was aiming directly for Bonney with that sword of his.
"Bonney!" I set Sanji down, and tackled Bonney to the ground so she wouldn't get cut in half by the Elder's sword. If I didn't assist Bonney in avoiding the attack, she definitely would've been dead by now. She shrunk down to her original size, becoming lighter in my arms.
The Elder's sword didn't cut nothing though. It managed to cut the figurehead and the jolly roger of one of the giant ships clean off.
"Thanks!" Bonney huffed, climbing down from your arms and landing swiftly on her two feet. "I can't maintain Distorted Future for very long..."
