Somewhere in Salem Center, New York, Professor Charles Xavier walks, or rather, strolled outside of his institute. Jean Grey was beside him, walking along the stone path.
He suddenly stopped his electronic wheel chair. His head gave him a mild ache.
"What's wrong, Professor?" Jean asked.
"I'm feeling something. Like someone was using their mutant powers." He added. Jean looked at him in confusion. She thought that maybe Charles had another episode just like before. But this rarely happened to him.
"How can you detect? Is it nearby?" She asked the most sensible question. The institute wasn't far, maybe he sense one of the students used their powers there.
"No, no. It's somewhere in Harlem." He stated.
"But that's far off from Campus. How can you detect that far?" Jean queried once more. She sounded like she was starting to doubt the professor.
"It was only an assumption, Jean. I'm not sure if it's really in Harlem or not. But my powers is getting flicked off by this energy."
Jean merely nodded. They went back to the X Mansion where the institute was held.
Rogue walked with Kitty. They just finished class. They were now on break period.
Rogue held onto her book like her life depends on it. The leathered gloves covered her hands. The gothic attire she wore showed no any side eyes from the other student, either of them gave a care of their choice of outfits.
"Then Jubilee was like, 'Boo!'. Of course I screamed from that! She jumped out of nowhere!" Kitty spoke.
Rogue rolled her eyes but smiled as Kitty continue to tell her story.
The professor strolled into view as Rogue looked in confusion. Soon Kitty was confused as well.
"Afternoon, Rogue. Kitty." He greeted.
"Hey, Professor. Do you need something?" Rogue asked. Her southern accent was thick. Kitty was also curious about what the professor had in mind.
Jean walking next to him.
"Please follow me. You too, Kitty." Ordered Charles. He turned his wheelchair before diving into the institute.
Rogue looked at Kitty and she did the same. They both shrugged before following him.

Roux was dapping the cotton ball to clear out the blood from his neck. It wasn't fully healed yet since the night before. The cut was deep but he was glad that it didn't cut any artery.
He didn't even try to apply bandages on it. He just let the blood dried.
Once there wasn't any blood leaking from the wound he threw the cotton ball into the trash can. It was full with blood stained cotton ball.
He sighed before exiting the rest room and made his way to class. He didn't meet Gwen today. She said she was gonna skip school cause her back was aching badly. Hopefully she gets better soon.
Soon he reached class before making his way to one of the empty seats. Little did he know, he was seating next to MJ.
MJ perked up from her notebook as she looked at Roux. She smiled as he slouched into the seat but soon her expression turned into a concern one.
"Hey, what happened to your neck?" She worryingly asked. But Roux brushed it off with a flick of his wrist.
"Nothing to concern you about." He simply answered.
