Even though after the fiesta from last night, Gwen mustered up her energy and came to school. Her back killing her on the way to school. Not the same for Roux though, he was fine after all from Gwen's perspective. Right?
Roux walked next to Gwen on their way to their first period. Math.
"So, Roux. Do you wanna hang out tonight? If there's nothing up with my schedule, I am free." Gwen asked. For the past few days, she had been busy dealing with her own problems and being the heroine she is now.
"As much as it pains me to say it, I can't. I have plans for tonight that I can't let go off." Roux replied, hand his hands behind his head as he scratched it. It follows up with an utttered word came from his mouth, "Sorry."
To Gwen's disappoint, she nodded in understanding. She was really had her hopes high of this planned hangout she had. Roux noticed her mood in a gloomy sunday, he decided to cheer her up.
"Hey, it's gonna be fine. Let's just hangout tomorrow or something. It's not like I'm gonna be busy forever."
Gwen gave a small smile from Roux attempt. In which it did reversed her mood. "You're right. Let's hang out tomorrow then."
...
And those plans involved with robberies. Roux walked into the back door of the bank. He made sure the security cameras hadn't seen him and was wearing his vigilante mask to hide his identity.
As he closed the door, he saw the security camera was eyeing him. Roux gave the middle finger to it. The camera just kept its lens on him.
Roux mentally shrugged before walking into the inner back. He heard shouts, "Too goddamn slow!" Followed with someone grunted from being hit by a blunt object.
Tony kept his pace in a slow motion, carefully trying not to make any stepping noise.
...
Gwen jumped onto the roof of the bank. It was currrntly being rob but the alarms haven't triggered yet. But she can tell by the lack of security outside and caught some glimpse of suspicious men coming inside the bank.
She crawled over to the air vents, making her way through the chamber of the bank. Suprisingly the air vents were cleaner than she expected. Shaking the thought, she continued to crawl until she found an trapdoor, leading to the hallway of the inner vault of the bank.
She opened it and jumped out. But she didn't expected to few bodies lying on the floor with pools of blood coming from the corpses.
She couldn't handle the sight and turned away. She tried to hold in the barf but failed to do so. She opened her mask just half way and vomited all over the floor.
The sight was gruesome to watch, Gwen's stomach couldn't bare it. The injuries were unhumane. The damage could've been done by a monster. But aside from that, the bodies weren't just the robbers but also the securities. Some of them that is.
Gwen was lost in thought. Did the robbers do this? But the wounds does not match with the guns they held. What happened to the securities? Did the attacker self defended themselves? Or they the type 'no witnesses'?
Her questions wasn't getting answered. But it did caught her attention when she heard a gunshot coming from the main vault. She immediately went after the noise.
She didn't expect to see two more bodies. What she did expected was the guy wearing black mask was in the vault. "You again!"
Roux turned his head to the incoming Spider before getting a punch from the heroine. He tumbled down before tripped himself. Ghost-Spider jumped and tried to land a hammer fist but Roux successfully blocked before countering with his own attack. The spider evaded the incoming punch. She jumped back to create distance from each other.
