after her stream, autumn treated herself to a little self-care night. she prepared a bath with lavender oil and lighted some candles making a relaxing atmosphere in the bathroom. the light smell of roses enveloped her, making her take a big breath and enjoy the moment. after she put her hair in a bun and put on a face mask, she slowly sat in the bath and let her muscles relax. she clicked shuffle on her favorite playlist, and quiet notes of "show and tell" by melanie martinez soon started echoing through the whole room.
she laughed at that - what a coincidence it was for that song to be the first to play when she just put on a show for hundreds of people to watch. of course she tried to be herself on the stream, but she knew that she didn't want to reveal everything to the audience and had to put a show at least a little to build an online persona.
the biggest difference that she made in her behavior were her responses to sapnap. she tried to bicker and flirt with him as much as she could because she knew that the fans loved that the last time they streamed together. it wasn't that different in real life though, and sometimes it confused her.
she thought that their flirting was just for content, and didn't shy away from doing it on camera, but whenever she passed sapnap in the hall and he made a comment like "you smell nice" or when she was going to the store and he said something like "that shirt looks good on you" she couldn't hide the blush that crept up her cheeks. but he was doing it all as an act, right?
her thoughts were interrupted by a quiet knocking on the door, and before she could react the door was opened.
sapnap walked in while looking at his phone, "why aren't you-"
"get out, i'm naked!" autumn yelled in surprise, trying to cover herself as much as she could.
sapnap looked up from his phone at that, and when he saw autumn submerging in the bathtub, his eyes closed immediately, his cheeks growing redder every second, "oh my god i'm so sorry! i knocked and called you a few times and you weren't answering and i thought you weren't even here but i wanted to check just in case something happened and now i look like a pervert and i-," he started rambling, talking so fast that autumn didn't even understand half of the things he said.
