"Screw it! Kayo yung may kailangan ng vocalist pero grabe naman ang standards niyo! Sorry if hindi ako yung perfect fit for your band ha."

"Hear us out po, we are sorry for the beh—

"I'm done hearing your excuses, goodluck on your journey na wasak. Imagine that hindi pa kayo nagsimula ay ganito na ang ugali niyo. Bwesit, you have wasted my time!"

The girl stormed off leaving with a big bang on the door which made the people left in the room groaning with a sigh except for one who remained a stoic expression. In fact, everyone is looking at that person right now.

"We had seven people auditioning on a single spot for our group and you're telling me that none of them didn't even get the chance to literally sing for us?!"

"Blame that to the person in the middle."

"What is your problem, dude? We're running out of time in case you are not aware. You got amazing written compositions prepared, each one of us got the talent of producing and playing our assigned instruments. All we just need now is a vocalist which isn't the hardest thing to look for in the first place."

"Finding our vocalist will make us start the recording progress, our producer is asking us nonstop about our updates."

"I know who will fit on our band and none of those ladies had the chance at all."

"You know what, I'm out of here. You're really testing everyone's patience."

"Mikha, calm down. We don't need to argue."

"Tell that sa mayabang kaibigan niyo!"

The band's bassist, Mikha Lim, left the room with a sour mood. It's like the similar scenario on what the lady who auditioned did a while ago towards the band.

"I'll go follow her, let's all try to cool off. I'm sure there are still people waiting for their turn to come and audition."

Gwen Apuli, the band's keyboardist, excused herself from the room to take damage control and settle the situation.

"You can leave me if you want, Jhoanna."

Jhoanna Robles, the band's acoustic guitarist and temporary vocalist, was quietly sitting down as she was just listening to everyone a while ago. She walked towards the seat beside her fellow member left at the room.

"Ate Colet, we need you. We don't know what to do because you won't communicate us thoroughly. This was your dream, diba? Making a band to promote OPM and perform your compositions."

Colet Vergara, the band's drummer and songwriter. She is basically the reason why the band was brought together because of her deep passion and talent on music. She recruited Robles because she spotted the girl busking at Luneta Park. She recruited Lim because she loved the bass-line she heard on one of the girl's night gigs. She recruited Apuli because they are cousins, both of them are the only members in their family has an interest to music. Colet has met a lot of talented individuals that could be a potential for the band she was making but she always has a gut telling her if the person deserves the spot and luckily she has a complete crew on playing the instruments. All she needs now is a vocalist which is actually the important person in every band obviously.

"I recruited you three because my gut told me you deserve a spot in this group. The ones who came here a while ago were not impressive enough to be our vocalist."

"They barely introduced themselves since you always interrupt them. Tell your gut that not even one out of seven girls had the chance to actually sing their piece."

Colet mentally sighed in her head as she recalled on what happened during the auditions. Jhoanna's statement was true but the drummer is not only after the music intelligence, she wants to feel the heart of their future bandmate. Robles isn't the best guitarist but she is their sweetest bunso who acts like an ate when she has to. Lim is damn intimidating on how she looks but is actually a softie. Apuli may love music but she wasn't good at it before, the determination and consistency of learning made her a decent keyboardist that she still continues to learn day by day. Colet never felt a deep connection to the people who auditioned because all she can see are potential singers wanting the position for clout and fame, typical norms.
