"I'm telling you the truth that Mikha warned me last night that if we don't find a vocalist by today, she will really quit."
Gwen was explaining to her cousin while the latter was just sipping her coffee quietly as they are walking on the way to their studio. The moment they have arrived, Colet settled herself on the couch still not paying attention to her cousin who is literally following her.
"Come on, couz. We have to hold another audition please. You don't want to lose a bandmate by the way you are behaving wherein our goal was to gain one. What d—
"I found our vocalist."
"Really?! Where is she?"
"I don't know."
"What do you mean you don't know?"
"I don't know who she is."
"How could you say that you found our vocalist when you don't even know the person? Do you atleast have any information about her?"
"The answer is pretty obvious."
This made Gwen do a facepalm, I mean what else does she expect from her cousin's social skills to other people.
"Look I am getting confused on what you are saying, can you atleast explain to me on what do you mean by your words?"
Colet signaled Gwen to take a seat and begins her talk on what happened last night after her basketball practice. Gwen was quite shocked on how her cousin is telling her all the details.
"I didn't expect you to do that to a stranger."
"I was surprised as well, it's probably my gut saying that was the way to find our vocalist."
"As much as we want that girl to be our vocalist, it is literally impossible to find her that you can't even give a single clue wherein we could search for her. Hindi kasi ito pelikula na biglang mahahanap natin anong gusto natin makuha. My point is that we are at the Philippines, majority of our population has the talent for singing and we just need one to be our front man singer."
Colet managed to give a shrug to her cousin as she snatched her phone and AirPods from her pocket to zone herself from reality. Gwen knows what Colet would respond on hee explanation. She knows her cousin more than anyone else that she is taking this band career too seriously. Soon enough, Jhoanna arrived at the room where the two cousins are at.
"Good morning, Ate Colet and Gwen!"
"Good morning, Jho. Yung isang ate mo is on DND mode so alam mo na."
Basically if you are someone close to Colet, you basically understand her personality and protocol of how she acts already. Strangers will think she's a snob and selfish person but you can't dictate someone to change on the way she really is, diba? They understand their leader's life story which is quite inspiring for the group. No matter how she seems like a bitch, Colet's bandmates never dared to abandon the dream that they will soon be launched as a band. All they just freaking need is a vocalist to surpass on Colet's standards, if only it was that easy. Both Gwen and Jhoanna are getting worried that maybe Mikha's words might come true if things will continue this way.
"Did you convince her to hold another audition? As much as I am scared of Mikha's words last night, we're really wasting our time if we don't do something about this."
"She didn't respond when I asked her about it so technically she didn't say no but it's also not a yes. Hindi ko na talaga alam, Jho."
"Everything is going to be okay, Gwenny. Let's just think of oth—
Before Jhoanna could finish her sentence, they were disturbed by Mikha who abruptly open the door out of nowhere and they noticed she was dragging a woman with her inside the sound booth of their recording room. Both girls are so confused when they saw Mikha instructing the person she brought in with her about using the microphone and headphones. After a few minutes, the bassist left the person at the sound booth and went towards her bandmates.
