Y/N was cutting wood for fire while Nezuko tried to calm the youngest of their siblings.
Y/N: "I wish I could go sell charcaol with Tanjiro"
Looking down at only 13 pieces of wood he has cut.
Nezuko: "Your sick as of now so we don't expect much of you"
Y/N: "Still our family should be to celebrate for new years"
Looking beside him was a cane until his gaze fell onto his leg that had many bandages on it.
Nezuko: "Don't feel bad about hurting yourself"
Y/N: "I'm not worried about that I'll know I'll heal soon, just wish I could do a bit more"
Y/N had been the weak one in the family, mostly due to his early sickness which he wasn't able to walk until 5 then able to talk till 10. As of now Y/N's voice sounded to delicate and quiet his movements were as slow as a turtle.

As the bird Koi watched Y/N play with the axe, Nezuko said her goodbyes before going back to the family where it is that Tanjiro is to go to the village and sell charcoal. Y/N tried his best to say goodbye to Tanjiro however he arrived a few minute late.
However Tanjiro came back and said goodbye before he left again. Sometimes Tanjiro was to nice, he felt as he took advantage of it at times.
Y/N: "I'm going to cut more wood"
However Nezuko grabbed his hand.
Nezuko: "You've done enough maybe you should get the insects off our small garden"
Another easy job mostly due that it was an all you can eat buffet for Koi who did most of the insect picking. While you walked over to the small garden Koi already started to pick on the caterpillars eating the leafs, there was nothing you could do but watch just watch.
He hated being sick in times when one needed help however everyone said the day will come for when he can help everyone.
Y/N: "Koi let's go find fish today"

It was an odd interaction but that was the first and last time he went to the village due to him getting more sick again. He never did catch her name.
