Nezuko continues to sleep within the living, that it made them worry so much.
However she was wide awake. . .
In a different realm
Finding herself lost in a large area filled of forest, rivers that freely fell as tears.
It was beautiful but it wasn't the moment to feel the peaceful view. There was a war where blood was being shed it was unfair she was here.
???: "It's alright Nezuko"
Staring back at the one who spoke, she saw a tall female wearing a kimono. She felt a sense of comfort upon seeing her smile.
???: "You in a deep sleep"
She noticed for the longest time that she walked amoung a land filled of darkness and can never find the light, any new face will make her feel okay.
So when she offered to pat her head while allowing her to lay her head onto her lap, Nezuko agrees to.
???: "I wish it was under better circumstances"
Better circumstances? Wasn't this peaceful? A clear blue sky, her mind at ease and the war far away from her.
The sounds the nature played with a plop of a raindrop, the swirling leaves that danced as feathers leaving the ravens, and the wind blowing her hair. The woman sweet voice, she wasn't singing but she wished she did.
???: "My dear Nezuko thank you, I had a good time watching your life. I will sadly depart, I will see you once again in another time"
Another time? Who is this woman to her?
???: "Y/N, was a very bittersweet person to stand by. I smiled even if you didn't notice the change, I noticed you and your family was afraid of my presence"
Afraid of this woman's presence? Why would she be afraid of her?
???: "I have left a departing gift for Y/N but it hurts my heart he will not recognize my feathers. Feathers that glow a mellow white under a flame just like a candle"
Koi?
Koi: "Did you recognize me now?"
Looking up now, she can see her eyes that were either shown she was blind or she never did have eyes. Either way she felt bad now, she remembered the times she often avoid Koi's presence as she was afraid of her appearance.
Koi: "I knew you were afraid of my presence, I didn't mind it"
Still playing with her hair, Nezuko didn't want to move but wanted to stood up, to ask. . .
Nezuko: "What did you leave behind with Y/N?"
Koi: "Y/N has accepted a gift, he will receive a mark. Unlike the marks that has been placed upon past Demon Slayers is different"
She started to cry that it made Nezuko hug her on instinct, Koi let herself cry.
Koi: "I wanted Y/N to have more time to live in the world as I saw him so lost, I wanted him to have only more time"
Nezuko: "Time?"
Koi: "The mark takes away the lifespan of Demon Slayers"
Nezuko: "What's different with Y/N's mark?"
Koi: "He'll forget every memory he has ever lived throughout his life. To the day he was born under the sunlight, to where he finally his final moments before forgetting"
Will that mean? He will forget her name? The names of those he kept within his heart.
She wanted Y/N to have a fresh start but at the cost of. . .of that fresh new start he'll forget everything.
Nezuko starts to cry as she clutches at Koi but as she does her hands go through her. She sees feathers start to flu up into the sky.
Koi: "Make Y/N remember, give him lot's of hugs. Give him time. . .say Koi gives her a big beautiful song for him to sleep up above the sky. When once again I'll be close to him"
Just as her wish to have peaceful place for her to be nothing, it goes away.
Openings her eyes to see no one in the room, it was okay because no one will hear her cry.
