Beautiful demise

Feel you bruising me, it's boundless.
You promised me eternal life, yet you near my demise.

Do you ever notice I'm in awe?

Caught all the butterflies on the trees, and while the butterflies somersaulted in my abdomen, my inside became thaw.
My heart became your prisoner, those criminal eyes of yours were so raw.

Never notice I stopped inhaling until you walked past breaking my siege,
Always withhold from your mesmerizing gaze until you notice me through life's cage.

Did you ever notice I was in awe?

You were like the enchanting Moonlight on winter evenings flowing through my inside,
Courses of my vivid dreams and beneath my wistful songs, you reside.

I only ever saw the surface, hoping for the depth that never came, I moved past that shallow phase.
My soul was always attracted to everything dark, maybe that is the reason it fell for your soul unphased

I never noticed that awe is still engraved.
