Subconscious Conclusions

Our history assignment was cancelled due to our teacher needing to take off work to help his mom or something like that. Lennon said she still wanted to come over so, Friday night I found myself walking downstairs to see Lennon sitting on my side of the couch intently listening to my mother explain the types of lizards.

She glanced at me with her big blue eyes, smiled cheerfully, then turned back to my mom. "Hey mom what are we having for dinner?" I interrupted. She kept talking without even looking at me. I sighed dramatically and opened the refrigerator. There is nothing more disappointing than a bare fridge. "Mom! You need to go to the store!" I yelled, again trying to save Lennon. She didn't stop talking. Time to get serious. I marched into the living room and grabbed Lennon's arm. "We have a project we're supposed to be working on, so if you'll excuse us..." I lead her upstairs to my room.

"Sorry I didn't put you out of your misery sooner, my moms a bit..."
"Shes great! I absolutely adore her passion!" Lennon beamed. Her passion??

And so this is Lennon. Here she is. The next hour or two, I'm not entirely sure how much time passes, I bask and rejoice in her glorious presence. What am I becoming?

When I slept that night, I had a dreamless sleep yet when I woke up I knew my mind had been racing all night. Making subconscious conclusions about the girl I found on the corner of depression and angst.
