Chapter 2

      One year has past, Jayden and Tavin have been friends for a while now, and she is appreciative of this. They hanged out constantly after they first meet and supported one another. Whenever Jayden struggled with subjects in classes Tavin would try to help and she would do the same when reversed, they were a great team. Tavin even tried to help with her anger problem she always tends to have, and she's gotten better sometimes. In the time they've been friends, Jayden has been a little more open in general. She still builds those bricks wall around herself, and still doesn't really trust others. But when around Tavin, she doesn't have to be 100% confined. Perhaps one day those walls can be tared down for good.

Jayden leans against the Academy walls waiting for Tavin. For once she showed up early, normally she's the one a little late. However today Jayden couldn't waste any time. Tavin has recently taken the initiation test and will be getting the results today. She had mixed feelings about this. A part of her wants Tavin to pass but she knows what will happen, he'll be gone. She couldn't help but take in the familiar silence around her. It made her feel dreaded thinking about it. Luckily it was interrupted as Jayden was startled by her friends' sudden appearance.

Tavin: "Yo what's up."

He happily smiles and waves.

Jayden nearly jumps back.

Jayden: "Great Zen-oh You scared me!"

Tavin laughs and rubs the back of his head. He's kinda surprised, he knows normally Jayden would always be on ten with her surroundings.

Tavin: "Sorry didn't mean to spook you."

Jayden: "Asshole."

She glances at a small blue box tucked under Tavins left arm, and figured out pretty much what it was.

Jayden: "You got your results?"

Tavin: "Yeah I think it's in here." He holds up the box.

The box was bright blue with the Time Patrol logo [TP] printed on the front and back, along with Tavin's name on the bottom face of the box. He relaxed on the wall next to Jayden and proceeded to open his blue package. With a loud pop, the lid was removed. Jayden leans her head to get a closer look at the condiments in the box. The first thing they noticed was a blue envelope with a golden strip across the face with [TP] in the center. Tavin grabs the envelope and examines it first then opens it. He begins to read the letter within the envelope.

Greetings Tavin.
Thank you for participating in Time Patroller Initiation Test. We have reviewed your test scores on both the written and physical.

Written Test:
On the written, you scored 6 out of 10. With the answers, you put down being mostly truthful as possible. Though your answer to question 5 [What would you do if you had access to a time scroll.] was different. Being that you put down, [Go back to eat Thanksgiving dinner again and again.] We figured you were just joking.

Jayden couldn't help but chuckle a little.

Tavin: "Hey I like Thanksgiving haha."

He continues reading through the letter.

Physical Test:
On the Physical Judged by Trunks Brief, you scored a perfect 10 out of 10. You showed amazing power, technique, and awareness. You also showed a lot of passion. Show much that you kept fighting even after the test was over. Trunks had to exit the area on account of being completely exhausted afterward.

With both scores added up as well as seeing how you performed in person. We have diagnosed that you have a strong noble desire to protect the timeline as well as others.
